If you’re not familiar with electrical systems, the manual for this inverter might be a bit of a challenge to follow. That said, it’s pretty straightforward and includes all the specs you’ll need. Speaking as an engineer who’s written these kinds of manuals before, I get how tricky they can be. As for the inverter itself, I can’t say for sure how well it’ll perform yet—I got it as a backup plan. Tested the items I’ll need for warmth 👍 My idea is to use my car as a makeshift generator to power a heater and a humidifier in case Houston gets hit with another freeze (in 2025). I connected the 2000W Inverter with 3 x 100 AMP batteries, cable size 4 AWG, and cable length four feet. I added a 150 AMP fuse and a switch to the battery circuit for safety. Its supposed to be a 12v car charger but in reality its a 24v, which means too batteries have to be connected for it to work. However, its a great product during a hurricane or widespread power outage.
