This was a challenge to assemble, but hoped it would be the perfect height for my bed after hip surgery. It was heavy, but was happy with the quality of the materials. It did require some adjusting after assembly to get everything straight. LOTS of storage space. I would recommend some kind of anti-skid under the frame if on laminate or hard wood. It was hilarious to watch it slide while I was trying to crawl in. Unfortunately, I had to disassemble for return, as I only measured the mattress and not the 2 inch mattress topper. I am only giving one star because i can’t give less. This is the most horribly engineered and manufactured piece of equipment i think i have EVER had the displeasure of putting together. First, the instructions were horrible and hard to decipher. Second, the measurements were completely off, leaving at least two inches at one end that it needed to be extended to make the inner crossbars fit. I guess you get what you pay for.
