I love having a tall ladder like this one, and it is very compact. However expanding it to just 14’ didn’t feel as stable as I need to climb. I couldn’t use the hooks for the climb. This ladder is VERY tall. Don't move it around if you can't balance a tall ladder :D The rungs are a bit farther spread out, than other ladders of this type, as well. So be ready to take each leg up an additional 3-4 inches, for each rung. Very sturdy for a ladder of its height though! Good buy, for what I need it for, which is estimating roofs. I weigh 161 lbs, so I can't fully test the 300+ lb limit. The hooks are a great addition to these kinds of ladders. Should the ladder slip sideways, it's likely to catch the gutter/eave/railing, etc...., and save you a call to the Fire Department, to get you off of a tall place. ... show more

Extension ladder is ok for about three quarters extended. Full extention is very flimsy and unstable from center to the top. Ladder will flex and bend under little weight or pressure. Used it 4 - 5 times so far. Push button release only allows for partial retraction of different sections to close completely. Other sections have to be closed separately. Hooks are completely useless. They lock in place vertically but not horizontally, so they do not stabilize and you have a problem getting them to line up together in order to hook them to the roof edge. Section joints are almost end to end. This is probably why it is so flimsy. One good kick would snap it in two. ... show more

I have 19ft vaulted ceilings in portions of my new home and needed a ladder to access some of the light bulbs to upgrade to LED...Unfortunately, most 20ft ladders are extremely heavy, expensive, and space consuming when not being used. I decided to purchase this telescoping ladder because it was a good price and easy to store. Let me first state...it did the job, but likely at the cost of a few days of my life. The ladder bends quite a bit, and is shaky as you climb. It is extremely nerve wracking as you ascend 20ft into the air using this ladder. As I clung for dear life with every step my heart raced as the ladder bent, swayed, and creaked. I kept my chest and hips as close to the ladder as possible as I reached the top only to find reaching out or above you to change a light bulb made it even less stable. My wife squealed in alarm as the ladder bent and swayed and looked as if it would break at every adjustment. THe look of pure terror on both of our faces. But the lights are changed...and I was able to climb up and down multiple times to change all the bulbs soooo....it does the job. ... show more

Cool idea, tried mine b4 using and bottom rung broke won't latch back in. I am with in the weight limit so kinda strange maybe I got a defective one Update* the company customer service was great they helped me with my bad ladder and replaced with a good and the new one works as described great affordable ladder. ... show more
