We purchased this 5 MP camera to go with our existing Hiseeu POE NVR system and we are very glad that the image quality is as good as some of the other reviews have mentioned. The attached photo of the dark road is from an area where we can see almost nothing while outside on a moonless night. Bang for your buck this system has been a great addition to our home. The customizable detection settings are amust if you want to avoid nuisance alarms but that is a testament to the sensitivity available if needed. All in all this was a great investment. Be warned, it will take some time to figure out how to configure everything unless you are happy with the default settings. For us, the default was too sensitive and wanted all of the cameras to work together by moving some of our PTZ cameras when a stationary camera is triggered. We now have 360 degree monitoring and alarms and for a great price. ... show more

It's not a pan/tilt/zoom camera if it doesn't zoom! And I never got it to engage in any human tracking whatsoever. No boxes no panning nothing. Cannot connect to it with a web browser, and after downloading their app and having Windows Firewall complain about security, I found that it cannot configure the camera either. Maybe the cell phone app works, maybe not, but I'm not installing every foreign app on my cell phone (I have an old trash PC for that). Returning. UPDATE: Reolink RLC-823A actually works (item B095H2BBWZ). Their web interface is missing a few features but lights/tracking/human detection can all be controlled. ... show more

Images are from my test setup before I installed them outside. These cameras are crazy good, especially for the price. I had a few other cameras from different brands set up, mostly wireless ones, but when I saw this one I knew it would be a great hardwired option to replace my other ones. First off, it's POE, so there's only one cord for power and data. They're super long too, I only used half of each one to wire a 360⁰ view around my home. Setup was simple as well. Just plug them in and you're off! You can expand this with up to 8 cameras. The kit includes 4 cameras and 4 Ethernet cables for them. The Ethernet cables also have a water resistant screw on cover to protect the connection. I see no reason why water would get in, but I did still wrap them in electrical tape for some extra piece of mind. The box comes with a mouse that is used for navigating the interface. When it starts it'll be in 12 camera mode. I'm not sure why, as the unit only supports 8, but if you right click and select view, you can click the four camera view to see them in their HD glory side by side by side by side. A really nice interface. All in all, these cameras are easy to use, easy to set up, super high resolution, and come with everything you need to get started. Do note: they need to be top mounted. So you'll have to make a mount to put them on the side of a building. But we put ours under the front and back porch roof overhangs and they mounted up great. ... show more

Ok camera quality. DVR went out a year after Purchasing. Purchase the three-year extended plaN warrenty. Has been a year now and I’ve been attempting to get a replacement DVR with a still warranty but I just keep getting the runaround. I. Overall it is it OK security system for the price
