I think the best thing about this coffee maker set up is that it’s versatile. My husband and I are huge coffee drinkers, and sometimes we’re making multiple pots in a day. He gets up early and has a few cups, and he likes to set the programming for the morning so that it’s ready for him and he doesn’t have to do it when he wakes up and is really tired. I’m up a little bit later and have a couple cups. And it doesn’t get cold, the warming plate can actually keep it hot for 4 hours. We also use the k cup pods (mostly me) when I want my afternoon cup. I like to pop one in during the afternoon and make an iced coffee when it’s hot. Also just a regular cup in the winter. But it saves me from having to brew an entire new pot just for myself. Anyway, it has all of the things I need. Nice glass carafe, looks pretty on my counter, makes good coffee…I will say that I’ve had so many coffee makers over the years and they really are getting better and making it easier not to go out and buy expensive coffee elsewhere. This coffee maker is pretty easy to use and works well for daily coffee. I like that it has a larger water tank, so I don’t have to keep adding water all the time. That makes mornings much easier. I manage an office of about 14 people, and keeping everyone caffeinated is a constant struggle. This machine solved our problem because it caters to everyone. Some staff bring their own pods, others prefer ground coffee from the local roaster. The fact that this does both in one machine saves counter space and prevents arguments.
