First off, this is an absolutely acceptable option for a cherry picker. It lifts fine, and is sturdy. It's not the nicest one I've ever used but it WILL get the job done. Assembly was fairly straightforward but it's here that you see where the cost savings come from: a few holes were difficult to line up and the slug from a punched hole still needed to be knocked out. That being said, if you're using this to pull an engine, you're more than capable of overcoming these minor inconveniences. The included hardware is of...okay...quality. I'm not too concerned about it failing but some threads are a bit gritty. The casters are low quality and noisy but they do roll. I forced as much grease into them as I could and they didn't quiet down much. Once put together it's easy to fold up and store until you need it. I found it fits pretty well in a corner of my garage, for now. And once you do need it, it's simple to unfold and it functions exactly how and engine crane should. The handles for pulling back on it are great; most cheap units don't have those. If you're on a budget, I'd say this is a good value unit. If price is no object, of course go for a more polished item. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

What can I say- good price! Has longer legs for better stability. It was nice to get in yellow as it matches the color of my car. Now I can lift engines safely. Will also be using to lift transmissions, riding mower, my small farm tractor, etc.
