I used it to lift up some batteries for installation on shelves in my garage. Setup was straight forward, had good enough documentation, and seems sturdy as heck. For the price I paid, well worth it. Will sell it on second hand, but was still miles cheaper than a rental.

Look CLOSELY at the wheels

Good value but No instructions.. NOTE: the wheels have a VERY specific location to install. Two of the wheels are slightly smaller. You MUST install them at the base where the legs fold upward. This ensures the wheels at the end of the folding legs support the weight of your engine. Look very closely at the wheels because you can easily install them in the wrong location. A simple drawing would have saved much wasted time assembling ... show more

Bought this 2 ton hoist out of necessity! I have a 1 ton hoist from Harbor Freight but it wasn't sufficient enough to install my engine. Price was right on with my budget. Works and assembles just fine, dose not feel cheap and is just like every other expensive hoist I recommend . It even came with an extra hydraulic pump might have been a mistake but I’m keeping it 10/10 would recommend.
