Great rewiring kit!

I had an older pair of lamps that I love, but the wiring was in need of updating. This rewiring set did the trick! It was very reasonably priced, arrived quickly and in good condition. My husband said that the directions weren’t helpful, and a little misleading. However he was able to complete the first lamp in about a half hour, and the 2nd one in about 15 minutes. The lamps work perfectly and the color was an exact match for the wires I was replacing. The cord is nice and long, extending 6 feet out of the lamp, with another 18 inches inside the lamp to the socket. I used these to create my own custom lamps for my daughters’ room. They were easy to install and look very professional. Function as expected. Long enough cord to thread through the lamp base and out to the wall socket. Would use these again if the need arises.

Rewiring bedside table lamps

Wonderful product(s)! I took a set of bedside lamps and brought them back to life! Easy exchange of wiring, I simply cut the wiring away from the base, removed the old base/socket. After threading the new wiring up through the base I made sure to do a simple looping of wires to secure the connection within the socket. I then connected the wires and replaced the rest of the lamp shade to the base unit. This was the first wiring project that I have attempted. ... show more
