I was using parchment paper underneath my sourdough to keep it from burning until I found the silicone pads with handles. These make it so much easier to cook my sourdough and take it in and out of the Dutch oven. Easy to clean I will continue to use these every time I bake my weekly sourdough. The quality is good and functionality is great. I have not had any burns since using them and they are easy to store by just rolling them up.

I believe there are some items that are marketed for sourdough baking that you really don’t need to produce a quality bread. I have learned this after many wasted dollars. These slings are one product you don’t necessarily need but a product I would not be without. These slings make getting the bread out of the Dutch oven so much easier. They are durable, the perfect size, a great value and function as they should. I will always have these slings on hand as long as I bake bread.

Absolutely love this slings for my sourdough baking. They are super inexpensive but amazing quality. They are super easy to clean and don’t slip around in my Dutch oven. Highly recommend these!

These are nicely made and a good size. Easy to clean. They are of average thickness. My only issue is that the lid of my roasting pan remains unable to stay in place with the thickness of the mat hanging out. This may work better with the heavy lid of a Dutch oven.

Love these. Use them for more than a Dutch oven. I make bread, babka, banana bread in a loaf pan with these and they work like a charm. Easy to life out of the pan, makes it so easy to clean and don’t have to add oil to the pan to make the bread remove easily. The mats do all that. Just a quick wipe and it’s ready for the next batch.
