The media could not be loaded. I never have strapped on a helmet with this, but I keep this strap on my passenger bike seat continuously. It’s sturdy and versatile, even more so if you have multiple points on your bike where it can be attached. Most often I use it to strap my gloves onto the seat when I make a quick run into a store or restaurant (I hang my helmet on whichever foot peg is in the shade). But also I use them when carrying bulky cargo items home. It doesn’t cover every need … one still needs a ROK strap that can be cinched as some items need much more tension to hold them I place. And one also needs a cargo mesh strap to hold items that need more points of contact than what a single strap — or the 4 straps of this item — can provide.

These straps are perfect. I ride a scooter in Thailand and use these straps at least once per week. I am able to secure my loads and so far have lost nothing.

They are smaller then they look in the picture. The spread width is not really functional to hold a helmet on a bike.

The material used to make the straps seem very solid and no issues after one month of use. Using the straps as designed, does not hold a full face helmet very well on the back seat of my cruiser. The slightest jostle and the straps just slip right over each side, no longer securing the helmet in place. I had to tie a small string between two of the straps, creating a webbing effect, in order for the straps to stay in place.
