The collars are made with soft material and lock in very well. They are very pretty and girly which I love for my German Shepherd that can be a bit intimidating for those who do not know her. These collars came in a 2 pk and it was a difficult choice deciding on which one to put on her first because they were both adorable! I went with the "pinker" one which is why I got better pics of the blue one still not being used. My model "Ella" did not want to sit still for me as her and her buddy Goosie Guy were too busy! The collars are super cute, just wide enough, adjustable, perfect for those "Help, I'm lost, return my home, or QRcode and Rabies tags" and appear to be very comfortable as my girl hasn't had an issue with hers as at. Ordered size Medium according to size chart after measuring my 2 corgis' necks and this was correct. The collars are very sweet. I would not call them heavy-duty, rather lightweight because of the materials used, but made well and certainly feel durable enough. Material listed in title is nylon, but further down in "About this Item" it's listed as double-layered cotton. I am almost positive they are cotton. So, probably not good at repelling moisture and dirt, but not such a big deal to me, these are more "ceremonial" collars than what they would wear for more rugged activities. The buckle is plastic so reduces the collar's weight on the dog as opposed to metal and feels secure. ... show more
