  • Perfect Tank Without Spending a Small Fortune
Size: 4.5 Gal
I bought the 4.5 gallon model. My main reason for the Vevor brand are the baffles they integrate into their tank. Not all companies use these and they are very beneficial especially if you choose a larger tank size. That is a lot of water weight moving when you start and stop in a vehicle. I see some reviews commenting on leakage but mine works perfectly. It is likely that the leaks are from user error during installation. As with any tank holding liquid, especially if it will be pressurized, you need to take your time and cleanly wrap the threads a solid 6-8 times around with the teflon tape. The outlet fitting that the hose connects to has to be very firmly seated all the way to the end of the threads which can take some effort to get the outlet where you want it (facing to the side or down. Mine faces down). Use some sort of padding and some channel locks or vice grips to slowly tighten to your desired location. Just go slow and tighten it a tiny bit at a time once it gets hard to turn. Don't go crazy with torquing it with all your strength, but really seat it good. I bought a 1/2" threaded stainless steel plug for one end as I will not be using the shower nozzle. I also did not use the provided pressure valve. I used a 90 degree pressure fitting as it was needed to suit my purposes - the tank sits below my bed rack under my RTT. As a precaution I used a bead of Star Brite marine grade black silicone caulk on the outside of the pressure valve and the spigot where they seat onto the tank. The aluminum tank filler cap is a little rough threading into the port at first so buy yourself some food grade silicone lubricant (Super Lube is an excellent choice), and put a thin coating on the threads of the filler cap before you thread it in. At first, thread it gently to avoid cross-threading and after you have screwed and unscrewed it a few times with the lubricant it threads very smoothly. Well built, nice hardware and accessories. I have put 55lbs of pressure in it and it has held it without leaks or pressure loss for the past 3 days. Use some neoprene rubber or waterproof foam between the tank and anywhere it will be contacting your roof rack or bed rack. I will not be using this as a shower - I have a hot water shower system I use when I camp. This water tank will be used for washing dishes, hands and feet, and spraying off any gear that gets muddy and needs attention. So much more convenient than lugging around a blue 7 gallon tank. ... show more

  • Decent quality at a good price point.
Size: 7 Gal
Instructions are easy to follow, build quality seems good, no leaks upon test. Good value for the money. 1. Max pressure is what they call 3 bar, which is about 43 psi. The pressure release valve starts to give about 38 psi. Water pressure seems good, supplied hardware is of decent quality. speedy wrench made it easy to turn the nut. Things to know before you buy: 1. They recommend that you fill to 80 percent capacity, i can only assume this is some type of golden ratio to keep up air pressure as you continually use water. So my 7 gal is about 5 ish in the end. 2. The air valve seemed a bit loose so i put a bit of tape on it to get a better seal. It may not be needed but they give you so much Teflon tape (thank you Vevor) that it make sense to add insurance. 3. The bolt points down it might give you a problem is your have a low profile roof rack like me. Doable with some patience. 3b. if you mount a Shower Awning you will need 2 spacers to account for the bolt or nut height from the awning bracket to make a stable flat surface if your planning on tank to be close enough to awning for ease of use. 4. You may want to buy some type of quick disconnect since you many not want to travel around or off-road with a hose to get caught on something. 5. Consider a small bag to store your goodies like a small electric pump, your hose and adjustable nozzle. 6. I bought a small rechargeable pump to which is easy to latch on to add pressure when needed. AstroAI L7 works well for this. Its better than setting up my schmittybuilt compressor, turning on my truck and pumping. Good luck and get out there! ... show more

  • Bad threads, leaks
Size: 4.5 Gal
I like the tank, but it leaks. The threads are not good and will not hold a seal for air pressure. Still trying to make it work.

  • Unable to assemble - bad engineering
Size: 8 Gal
Threads on both ends of tank (8 Gallons) were course threads and angle valves were fine threads. Bolts sent were 1" - 1.5" too short (referring to the longest t-bolts that were 2.5" long). Customer service told me it would take em 10-15 days to get shipping info on correct bolts plus shipping time... ... show more

  • Be mindful that you may find some discrepancies
Size: 4.5 Gal
(The good ) great product design plenty of configuration options functionality compact lightweight easy to fill with the large opening multiple mounting options spicket is nice with a 1/4 turn valve. Internal baffle makes great for traveling down the road. I gave this product a ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ because of all of the above reasons.(the bad) on one side of this product the welded threaded bung was stripped out. The other side of the tank i found a few small leaks around the welded threaded bung . If you decide to purchase this product that’s awesome but be aware that you may find some issues or if you are mechanically inclined and don’t mind fixing this issue you self ... show more

  • It works but needs improvement
Size: 8 Gal
Be careful with the air pressure screw, it breaks easily so only tighten it by hand and if it breaks you won't have any pressure plus you won't find this part in the US since it's a size that only the manufacturer makes. The seller replaced it.
