Bought this set of 4 speakers for my 17’ Subaru Legacy and am not disappointed. The install was super easy and they fit and looked great in both the front and back doors. Paired with a Kicker Hideaway Powered Sub the system finally sounds complete and isn’t drowned out by all of the bass. I hooked directly into my factory system using the Metra speaker wire converters so these speakers could potentially sound even better if you added an aftermarket amp to them but my situation didn’t require that type of volume so decided to power them using only the factory system.     • A PAIR TOO MANY?
The Bad: I bought these Alpines to improve sound from my 2012 Honda Accord factory radio. After installing a pair in the rear deck, I was surprised to learn the stock speakers in the front doors had more bass. So I didn't replace them. HOWEVER The Good: Even though it seems there's now mathematically less overall bass, the stock speakers in the front sound better than before within a new, wider, and more balanced range thanks to really clear mids and highs coming from the Alpines. I am definitely pleased with these speakers in the role they are playing. It actually seems I have more bass now than before because the overall sound seems so much fuller and less muffled at both low and high volumes. I am no longer constantly adjusting equalizer settings trying to find a sweet spot. These speakers seem to be a good deal if you are sure you need 2 pairs and don't mind weak bass. It turns out I overpaid by 50% because I bought a pair too many. No complaints about the seller. Audiosavings shipped them right away. ... show more

I bought these for my 2004 Dodge Dakota as a basic upgrade. They sound excellent in the truck! The bass is ok, but the sound quality is incredible for the price. I highly suggest getting them.

    • Good sound, would recommend having them professionally installed
These alpine speakers sound good, I did have trouble fitting them in the doors though so I had to get some mounting rings to fit over what the stock speakers were mounted to but after some time I got them in and working but now I need a amp to drive the speakers better so they can reach their full potential. But I’m happy with the sound I get already without a amp because my stock speakers were all blown so anything is really better at this point lol. ... show more

Clean, crisp and wholesome sound. I put them into a 14 JK for an upgrade and it was well worth the money. I also stuffed the 2 knee panel speaker boxes and the sound bar speaker cavity with Poly-Fill. I would highly recommend the Poly-Fill along with the Alpine speakers. Totally different Jeep!!!

I give bad review because I have bad experience with seller do not fit my car the description say it will fit, when I return the item I have to paid for the shipping not only that it was there mistake and they charge me the restock fee. At the end I do not receive my whole refund that I paid for the speakers. My advice is to make sure that will fit your car I have a 2015 Mazda 5 and do not fit. ... show more
