My young cat Zoë (7.5 months old) absolutely LOVES chasing these worm toys. She goes COMPLETELY BONKERS and chases them around like a spaz. She’ll even LAUNCH 🚀 into the air, to snag the worm wight out of the air! Play sessions with the worm inevitably end with her panting and completely exhausted. I know she gets a very good work out as long as I have enough of these worms on hand. I’ve also noticed, with the worm toy especially, when Zoë gets ahold of it, (especially as she starts to tire), she likes to trot off with the worm in her mouth and take it back to one of her her kitty “lairs”. For this reason I like to have at least one of the worms in my pocket, that is not attached to the wand, so I can give her a trophy worm (along with a couple treats) when play time is over. Plus I can use it to distract her when I want her to let go of the worm attached to the wand. I’ve found that this toy is a good way to wear Zoë out before bed time. It also adds much needed exercise and enrichment to her life as an indoor only cat. Though I know indoor cats live a much safer and longer lives than their outdoor brothers and sisters, I feel like it’s very important for me to replace the exercise and satisfaction Zoë would normally get from hunting prey. She is a predator, and this toy is guaranteed to get her into the hunting spirit and satisfy her desire to hunt. Zoë has certainly been showing her gratitude to me for consistently giving her play sessions in with her favorite game, which is DEFINITELY chase the worm 🐛 🐈. Some people in these reviews seem to think there is catnip in them to explain why this is, but I don’t think that’s it. They just move in a very life-like way (especially when dragged across the floor). Cats vision is based on motion, and their hunter instinct clearly kicks into FULL HIGH GEAR at the sight of the squirming worms. Initially I discovered this when I tried a similar wand attachment that came in a wand kit I purchased that came with various attachments. The worm attachments were hands down my cat Zoë’s favorite 😻. However, they did fall apart VERY quickly. Those ones fell apart after only 3-4 play sessions, leaving neon fuzz pieces all over the floor. But Zoë loved them so much I figured getting a big replacement pack every few months or so would be worth it. This pack however definitely seems to be constructed in a bit more durable way. I like that the bell is removable, and it is much higher quality than the previous worms I had. So far I’ve had several play sessions with Zoë, and usually by now the worm has started coming apart, but so far there hasn’t been any damage. If we’ve left it within reach she’ll literally bring it to us to tell us to play with it. She loves the bell sound and the worm thing she likes to catch by sitting on, with her paw, or in her mouth. I bought a pack of wand toys for my fur baby, Hunter for Chrstmas. It had feather and "wormy" attachments and we tried both. It was love at first pounce. My kitty is a now a dedicated "Wormy" hunter and has been ever since he was introduced to them. This is the second pack of "wormys" I've purchased since December. It's nearing the end of February. My husband and I were home from work for a time during the holiday season where we were able to play "wormy" much more than we can now since we are back to work. During the time we were able to play more with him, we went through nearly one pack of worms in a little over a week. It's all our boy wanted us to do, play "wormy" with him. Being he's cute playing with his work toy it was hard to resist, but it meant changing to a new worm every other day. While the worms aren't the most durable toy he has, our boy has no interest in anything else since being introduced to "wormy". We get as much enjoyment as he playing with these works with him and Hunter comes up with some interesting hunting techniques along with more infamous butt wriggles kitties are famous for. It's amusing and he has fun. It's all he wants to play with, sincerely. I'd recommend this for all cat parents who've tried toys their cats weren't interested in except for the box, as well, any cat parent who enjoys playing with their kitties because if their cats are anything like ours, these "wormies" will keep kitty entertained for hours. One word of advice, please note it's important when worms become damaged from play they should be discarded and replaced with a new worm. Eyes can be cut off too. Our boy plays rough and they last for a few days, but safety first. Since they're relatively inexpensive buying a new pack won't break the bank either, so this is a great toy for kitty and cat parents on a budget too. ... show more

My cat loves the string more than the actual toys but she does occasionally actually touch them. Very durable, I expected the feathers to be ripped apart right away but even with it being like her 2nd favorite bit it’s still in tact. Just make sure you keep track of where you leave em. Roommate said stepping barefoot on one of the bells is just as bad as a lego. ... show more
