We bought size M (according to the size chart measurements) for our 6.4 lb. Maltipoo to wear after her spay. These little doggie onesies are great. I ordered the small for my 5 lb maltese. It fits her perfectly. She recently had surgery for intestinal blockage, and this little onesie covers up her entire incision. She was so miserable with that ridiculous cone around her head, but with these onesies she can be warm, comfy, and protected. This is a great product that I highly recommend.     • Ribbed material one stretches, makes fit a challenge

I bought two sets of these for my dog post surgery. The three of them that were printed were perfect. The tiny buttons are a little difficult to snap with a wiggling dog but I get why they used them. The 4th one, a striped, ribbed material was different. It stretched almost immediately and my dog was able to wiggle out of three of the 4 leg holes and got stuck around her neck trying to get it fully off. Counterproductive for a surgery suit. My tiny 4lb female Yorkie post surgery was able to potty with it on, it covered the surgical area perfectly. Definitely recommend using this instead of a head cone. It was easy to put on and take off. It has a good stretch and fabric was soft and comfy.

Pros: First, loved how they are made. They are soft, stretchy and launder well. I washed them in a delicates laundry bag in my washer in tepid water, no fabric softener. They air dried quickly. Some reviews have commented the snaps were difficult to snap. Yes, they were tight the first time or two they were used. I suggest snapping up all the snaps prior to washing. It helps loosen them a bit. Cons: I purchased these for 6 month old 8 lb puppies prior to being spayed. First ordered size small because according to size chart, that was the size they needed. When I tried them on the pups, the rompers were a bit too small. I ordered 2 packs of mediums and returned the smalls(very quick and problem free return). Mediums arrived. All packaging and tags on the garments were marked "M". But, 1 pack was smaller than the other. Because their surgery was imminent, I kept and used them, but I ordered 2 more packs of mediums. That shipment arrived, again all packaging and labels on the rompers will marked "M". However, in the 2 packs of 2 rompers, 1 romper was small, 2 were medium and 1 very large. Because of this I will avoid ordering any more from this company. I like my dogs in them and planned on getting more and looking for long sleeved ones for the winter. ... show more

I purchased TWO sets, a Large for overnight sleeping and Medium for daytime. My foster pug baby is 15.5Lb, chest 18, length 14, neck 13.5. I read the reviews and purchased a medium and it is snug but confortable, overnight the neck was pulling down to much since it is smaller so I purchased the large so my pug girl could sleep comfortable. I guess the large could have worked for day time and night but I like the medium fit for daytime since it is snug and the back doesn’t cover her bottom to go pee and poop. You can still move the opening on the large so it doesn’t accidentally get soiled, but I like the medium for this reason since it doesn’t have any loose material at the back. Large worked perfect overnight, my girl doesn’t wake up at night and she did go pee and poop wearing the large suit on but I had to make sure the opening wasn’t covering her behind. My dog is a toy yorkipoo, weighs 5lbs exact, I got this because she's getting fixed. Size runs small, I had to buy a Medium to fit her. It fit her just right on her back, but baggy on the belly. Still works though!
