I ordered a pair of replacement front wheels for my John Deere LA110 and got a chance to install them this morning. Although these wheels look fine and fit good, I found a few issues that I want to address. The first issue is the sintered steel bushings that come in the wheel hubs. I am familiar with sintered bronze bushings, and those are just fine except that they require routine maintenance, but I would never want to use steel bushings on a steel spindle. I decided to knock those out and replace them with the ball bearings that were in the old wheels. This brings me to issue number two, the hubs were undersized and it was difficult to install the ball bearings. It took a bit of persuasion, but I was finally able to drive them in. This is when I discovered that the grease fittings were located too close to the outer edge of the hub and actually stopped the bushings from going in all the way. The location of the grease fittings also interfered with the rubber wheel caps and stopped me from sliding them all the way on. Since I was using sealed ball bearings that don't need greased, I went ahead and removed the grease fittings from the wheels. I did finally get both wheels mounted and took the machine out in the yard for a test drive. The wheels rotate smoothly and provide plenty of shock absorption, perhaps not as much as the old wheels did however. I think that is because these new tires are not as wide as the old ones. They are also just a bit taller but look to be made of a good quality rubber. The wheels run just fine and the steering was very responsive. I would consider these wheels to be on the lower end of the quality spectrum but then so is the price. I've seen similar wheels sell for twice the price as these but many sell for about $15 to $20 more. That makes them a fair value and if they last as long as the old wheels did I'll be pleased.

Very happy to get this set of front wheels and tires to replace the worn ones on my old mower. These tires have nice tread pattern to give you the traction you need and still be friendly to your grass. The wheels are silver so they will match whatever color your mower is. One thing that I really like is that the grease fitting for the wheels is on the outside of the wheel along with the air filler valve. Most manufacturers put the grease fitting on the inside, making it difficult to grease the wheels. This one will be very easy. They mount very easily, one cotter pin per side on and off and you are done. Maximum inflation is listed as 30 pounds. Mine is 14 pounds. Good way to increase the traction and improve steering of your mower.

My riding lawn mower tires were going flat and had become worn. These replacements were perfect for me to simply replace them without having to remove the old tires from the rim. Swapping small tires on a rim isn’t the easiest job to do. My son drove the mower around to test it and said it steered much easier. No more having to pump up the tires before use. These wheels have a grease injection port. After I installed them on the axles, I injected grease inside to lubricate the axle. This is a necessary step so you won’t have metal on metal rubbing. At a current price of under $60 for TWO entire wheels, this is a great deal.

2 pack 15x6x6 tires and rims arrived exactly as described with no issues, thank you. These wheels and tires have the 3/4" sintered bushings and include an angled grease fitting for easy access during routine maintenance (Good deal). Perfect fit for my Wheel Horse and will fit several other brands that use the 3/4" front axles with a centered rim and 15x6x6 tires. These have the turf tread design tires and are the tube type. Use these on garden tractors and other lawn tractors where the flat free tires are not a viable option. These are pneumatic and have some give where as the solid flat free wheels and tires do not. The rims look wonderful. They're so shiny they look almost like chrome. Great parts! A+

These are "tube" tires/wheels. Guess that would be my preference anyway. They seem like good rims, they have a grease zerk and the tires have a nice lug pattern. The wheel rims might not be of quite the same stout quality of some of the OEM rims but certainly meets the need. It looked like the outer rim of one of the wheels might have been slightly deformed. Maybe a little "knit-picky" as it will not affect operation. 2 wheels, 2 inner tubes, 2 tires for about the price I would expect to pay for the tires alone. Good value!
