I have used several different brands of 3rd party Canon LP-E6 batteries in the past with varying results. Some would show being only 67% charged no matter how long I charge them. There are generally 3 things common with 3rd party batteries. First, they are much much cheaper than Canon's own OEM batteries. Second, the 3rd party batteries tend to really inflate their mAh ratings. Third, they all tend to work OK, some better than others. With this particular brand, when I fully charged them, the battery charge reading seems to be accurate in the camera. I have 3 different Canon bodies and this brand seemed to work flawlessly in all of them. Their dual battery charger allows for both batteries to be recharged at the same time. Style: 2 Battery and Dual Charger Set
This is my second set of non-OEM batteries for my Canon camera. And they work well enough for my needs. I like the charger as it gives a pretty clear indication of charging status. The batteries themselves are close in comparison to my other non-Canon batteries, but not quite as good as the Canon factory models. I have to admit that when I saw they were in yellow I was a little skeptical, but being an astro-photographer I like the fact they are a bright yellow. They are very easy to identify without light in my camera case. I normally use a USB dummy battery when doing long astro sessions, but these work well for shorter photo shoots in the field or when I don't really want to do a complete setup. ... show more
