I am totally confused by some of the reviews, that say the scent isn't that strong. For me, this was so strong, I took out 2 of the diffusing sticks, and was considering removing a third. When I've been outside for a while, and walk into the house, I can smell this (faintly), and it's 2 rooms away. My wife picked the tulip scent, which is nice, but not really my style, but she likes it, so I'm happy with it. The plug in the bottle is really tight. I took my time working out the plug, because I'm always afraid of it popping off unexpectedly, and spilling, but it came off smoothly. I jokingly said to my wife "no instructions, one star", but I did find the instructions on the back of the box. Written so small, you'd think it was a legal disclaimer. Of course, I can't imagine anyone actually needing instructions, but they're there...and they're confusing. The 4th step says "on/off switch on base of bottle". huh? An on/off switch? Really? I don't see one. All joking aside, this is a really nice diffuser, in a pretty nice box, which is very giftable. If you're sensitive to strong smells, like I am, then you may want to consider adding the diffusing sticks one at a time, until you get the scent level you want. I found 5 sticks is too strong for me, and 3 is pushing my limits too.

This set is very giftable. It comes in a pretty floral box. When I first opened the box I got a whiff of some strong scent. The candle is adorable and smells great. The essential oil comes with five reed diffusers. I used the essential oil in my bedroom and noticed a difference in smell right away. The essential oil and candle come in very pretty floral jars. The essential oil jar can be used over and over again.

I like strong scented candles and diffusers. This set is lightly scented. The candle has a decent throw but the oil for the reeds is light. If you pick up the container you can smell it. Overall it's pretty and can be given as a gift if light scents are your preference.

This is a very light floral scent it isn’t over powering, the scent doesn’t hit you like Mike Tyson. You don’t even notice it until you’re well in it. It’s a beautiful welcoming scent to my home. I keep min on my liveing room table and it pretty much covers the living room and the connecting hall way. The candle smell amazing as well, although I didn’t burn it for long. When I did blow it out i wasn’t overwhelmed by that burnt wick smell.

If you like spraying Febreeze and using Plugins, then this is for you. It's a strong, cloying, flowery scent that isn't pleasant if you prefer the natural smells of essential oils. That said, it's cute-looking and comes in a very nice gift box, so it's a decent gift... so long as you don't plan on visiting that friend often. ;)

We liked how pretty the box, bottle and candle are on this set. It's definitely giftable and well packed. But when my wife opened the bottle, she was expecting a tulip smell, which it didn't smell like tulips to her at all. It has a strong scent but she wasn't crazy about it. She's had others that will fill the whole room. She can smell it when she's close to it. But she's glad she can't smell it because she did not like the scent. It could just be her disappointment that it didn't smell like flowers to her.

VERY pretty. It comes well packed in a very nice box. The scent is fantastic, pleasant,strong but light enough it doesn't give me a headache. I didn't realize it came with the candle so that was a pleasant surprise. My only complaint is it was difficult to remove the stopper but that's much better than having to deal with a spill during shipping.
