    • Ghastly aroma from the diffuser reeds, weak rose/oud scent

I don't know what is going on with this company and if these reviews are actually legitimate. I've (foolishly now) ordered two different diffuser sets - the first one was like a sandalwood one and so horrendously overpowering I had to get rid of it (reducing the number of sticks didn't even help) - it literally gave me a headache. This one - the rose/oud one - came with the black diffuser sticks, which I used initially since they came with the set, but noticed a really weird, STRONG scent that was like Pine-scented Lysol - my home literally smelled like an antiseptic home cleaning product. It was repulsive. If you're a company that makes oil diffusers, doesn't it seem obvious that the diffuser sticks shouldn't emit their own repugnant aroma? I noticed the rose-oud oil smelled different, so I removed the diffuser sticks and replaced them with the sticks from a different set - this helped immensely by immediately getting rid of the Lysol odor; however, the Rose/oud is really weak. Having lived in Saudi Arabia for ages, Rose/oud is the smell that brings me back to my childhood and is a lovely signature scent. This rose/oud diffused hardly smells like Oud at all and the rose scent is like weak watered-down roses, not very apparent. For $50, literally nothing about this is acceptable. ... show more
