    • The real deal. Great bottle, great reeds, great scent. Understated elegance.

This is a quality diffuser set. Some other brands look great but have weak or too-sweet scents, but not this one. The lavender scent is potent but understated. I've set this up in the kitchen and you don't get a blast-o-fake-lavender when you walk through the room; you just get a nice, pleasant fragrance as you walk by. The bottle is a pretty brown color, and it's made of sturdy glass. The bottle stopper is also light brown. The label looks fine, but I'll probably take the label off the bottle for a more "homespun" look. The reeds are brown and textural. They're identical in shape, so I'm sure they're man-made, but they look very reed-like. It only took about two minutes for the scent to start flsowing through the reeds. I am only using 3 of the 6 reeds, and as I mentioned, the entire kitchen (which is pretty big) smells gently of lavender. The set comes well packaged in a thin, cardboard box. The box is not fancy, but it would be suitable for gift-giving if you wrap it up or put it in a gift bag. I would be proud to give this to anyone as a gift, and I would find it a very nice gift. I've tried other methods of keeping it fresh, but having the reed diffuser is the best. The fragrance is delightful and subtle; it is not overwhelming. The fragrance of this diffuser oil is very pleasant and pretty. not cheap or excessively artificial. I also really like the retro look of the bottle, and the price is reasonable. I haven't had a chance to evaluate how long it will last, but the bottle is refillable. I love that the top with hole for the diffuser sticks screws on rather than just sitting on top of the bottle like many other brands. We have 4 cats and a dog, but we don’t like our house to smell like we have pets. I have to be careful what type of fragrance I use because I have asthma. I saw this reed diffuser and thought I’d give it a try. I absolutely love it. First of all, the fragrance is great, but even more important is the control that I have in how much fragrance is released into the air. The blend of lavender and vanilla really compliment each other very nicely. It is sweet and quite floral at the same time. The diffuser does work well to allow the scent into the air and fill the room with it. The bottle is not overly fancy in the way it looks, but it is perfect for the job and does it well.
