This is a quality diffuser set. Some other brands look great but have weak or too-sweet scents, but not this one. The lavender scent is potent but understated. I've set this up in the kitchen and you don't get a blast-o-fake-lavender when you walk through the room; you just get a nice, pleasant fragrance as you walk by. The bottle is a pretty brown color, and it's made of sturdy glass. The bottle stopper is also light brown. The label looks fine, but I'll probably take the label off the bottle for a more "homespun" look. The reeds are brown and textural. They're identical in shape, so I'm sure they're man-made, but they look very reed-like. It only took about two minutes for the scent to start flsowing through the reeds. I am only using 3 of the 6 reeds, and as I mentioned, the entire kitchen (which is pretty big) smells gently of lavender. The set comes well packaged in a thin, cardboard box. The box is not fancy, but it would be suitable for gift-giving if you wrap it up or put it in a gift bag. I would be proud to give this to anyone as a gift, and I would find it a very nice gift. I highly recommend this reed diffuser set.

The smell is great but it doesn’t fill my tiny (and I mean tiny) bathroom that well. I could only smell it when I was right next to it for a few days. I’ve had it for well over a month now and while there is still fragrance in tbe bottle, I haven’t smelled it since that first week I opened it. More of a decorative item than anything, in my opinion.

I've tried other methods of keeping it fresh, but having the reed diffuser is the best. The fragrance is delightful and subtle; it is not overwhelming. It lasted more than thirty days, so it offers excellent value. This is also a great gift for someone who enjoys pleasant scents in their home. The fragrance of this diffuser oil is very pleasant and pretty. not cheap or excessively artificial. I also really like the retro look of the bottle, and the price is reasonable. I haven't had a chance to evaluate how long it will last, but the bottle is refillable. I love that the top with hole for the diffuser sticks screws on rather than just sitting on top of the bottle like many other brands. I have it in a small room, maybe 7' X 9' and the throw is fine in that space. You just need to be sure to protect the surface under it if it is wood.
