This review is for a 2 pack of Fastvert 6” to 13” (inflated) x 5.00 Heavy Duty Inner Tubes While I did not order these inner tubes to be used with tires, they are heavy duty, with reinforced rubber walls and good quality construction. Rather than a straight valve stem, they feature a universal bent stem valve (TR-87), which serve my needs well. The recommended Inflation is 20–30 PSI, not to exceed 30 PSI, however I won’t be filling them fully for my McGuyver’d purposes utilizing them as floats in my 3500 gallon fish pond. One of the inflated tubes will be used to retain the 200 micron mesh filter bag used when I scoop muck that settles in the deepest level of my stepped pond. I will dump the muck into a filter bag as I move around the pond. The inner tube serves as a floating frame support for the bag. Having the filter bag stationed in the pond, rather than in a 5 gallon bucket on the edge of the pond, will be much easier, and less messy, than trying to lift each scoop to a stationary spot out of the pond. When the bag is full, I can lift all over to a 5 gallon bucket to drain and concentrate the muck while I rescue any fish trapped within. The second inner tube will serve as a floating, but anchored, support for a submersible pump and fountain assembly in the middle of my 15 foot width pond. Having this floating assembly rather than a fixed installation allows me to more easily access, clean and service all the components, or remove it all for winter. While I haven’t yet put these sturdy inner tubes to their pending use, I feel confident they are well suited to the tasks. I will update with photos once the setup is finished and up and running.

I got this pair of tire inner tubes for my older Kushland cement mixer and they worked great. Before, I had to fill up the tires on every use, but the leak got so bad that I couldn’t get through a small pour without having to air up the tires halfway. The best solution would have been to get a pair of the solid-never-flat tires, but a pair those cost almost a hundred bucks, and the old mixer isn’t worth that much. These inner tubes were a great solution for me being value conscious. Installation was kind of a pain for me. I was able to break to bead on one tire and slip out the old inner tube, and slip in the new one. I wouldn’t recommend that as I had to fight it the whole way through. On the second tire I just broke the bead and popped off one side of the tire with some tire spoons, and it went much more smoothly. They inflated the tires well, and they feel nice and thick. The metal stem seems like it should help prevent leaks and failures at the stem. Overall, I would highly recommend these inner tubes if you want to stay with pneumatic tires and save some money.

I used these on an old mower I've had for 10-12 years. The front tires were tubless and starting to dry-rot, and constantly had to be refilled to cut the grass every week. For less than half the cost of a single new tire, these took care of my issue. I was able to break the front bead loose and push the new tubes inside the old tires without entirely removing the tire from the wheel. (Pull the front bead off) The tubes also made reseating the bead much easier than trying to get the tire back on the rim without a tube. These are a great value and very functional for a budget-friendly solution.

I recently purchased the Fastvert 13x5.00-6/5.00-6 Heavy-Duty Inner Tubes for a home-built trailer, and they were the perfect fit. The installation was straightforward, and the material is a heavy-duty rubber that feels durable and long-lasting. I inflated them a couple of days ago, and so far, there has been no leakage. I'm especially impressed with the thickened rubber around the valve stem, which adds extra strength to an area that is often prone to leaks. Overall, this is a great set of inner tubes, and they were half the price of other retailers.
