Bought because our cat damaged the seals on the fridge. Every time I would open the fridge the freezer would pop open. We had resorted to using duct tape. However, after reading some of the reviews, and seeing that others had used these locks forbthe same reason, I decided to try them too. So freaking happy that I did because they work great! No more tape!!! Easy to install! Easy to open! Keeps the doors to both the freezer and fridge shut tight!

I love these locks! They’re subtle and out of the way, and they’re durable. I love that there aren’t any big straps or buckles to do, and it’s so nice to be able to open the lock one handed. These are also great because they can be set to the engaged OR non-engaged positions I got a set for grandma’s house too, so she can use her fridge normally when she’s not babysitting but when my little one comes over, just press the button to engage it and it’s locked. Not to mention it’s such a small, subtle design that it doesn’t add to a “kids stuff all over the place” kind of look. I would highly recommend!

they were easy to install . One came loose and we had to reinstall. we bought thinking they would hold the freezer door shut. As a precaution we still use something heavy to make sure the freezer door doesnt come open as one came off and door opened. wouldnt depend on these to keep the door shut. we installed both pieces and still one came loose and popped the other out of the connector.
