Easy to add to the tank! We’ve had them for 3 months now and our shrimp population has grown so much! They share the tank with a betta so it’s nice that they have a decent sized place to hide. Definitely worth it for community tanks!

I purchased 4 of these. My shrimp do seem to love them and use them for cover. I placed them in the corners of my aquarium with a little java moss inside. I can't help but think the design could be better. One was not perfectly straight and I had two shrimp die trying to fit between the small crack between the wall and the hide before having to remove. I had to remove two hides because they were flimsy and they bent or broke. One is still in my aquarium and it is quite cool to watch the shrimp hide/eat/chill inside safely away from predators.

This shrimp hideaways are pretty neat and simple enough to install into a tank, and the holes are sized so that shrimps and other very tiny creatures can get into them. However, I had a repeat issue of one (and at two points two) of my bettas getting into the area someone and stuck. I cannot state how they got in, as I had placed this against the corner of the tank as best as possible, and at points even put some gravel on all the edges, and still my fish was trapped inside. I so far haven't had any issues after stacking the second one only partially onto the first one, which doesn't give enough space for a fish to exist in it, but still allows for my shrimps to go between the levels. I kind of like that they now have a two story house in the corner, but there is something with the construction that is allowing my fish to slip in that I just cannot pinpoint. Beyond my fish issues, the pieces are well made and will have no issues existing in my tank as it is, and I do like them for the added space usage.
