I like this table quite a bit. My parents got one, and after seeing theirs, I went and got one for myself. It's a great color, it's solid, a reasonable size to fit in most kitchens while still comfortably sitting 4, and the chairs are very comfortable. I'm pretty mechanically inclined and have power tools, so to me assembly was easy, just a bit time consuming. If you aren't and don't, then I can see it being a pain and something you may have to request help with. I would recommend fitting everything loosely and tightening down in stages while checking to make sure it's all level. ... show more

The box was very heavy. I recommend having a dolly or a couple of friends in the area to help carry it to your desired location. The components were carefully arranged to make the package compact, and everything was mostly protected. The only part that suffered damage was the tableface. There was some styrofoam cloth that looked like it was trying to cover it during shipment, but I guess it got moved around too much. There are little scratches here and there, but the majority of the scratches came after assembling. I put a box on top of the table (not very heavy, I'm not that strong), but it somehow scuffed the table further. I'm being nitpicky, but I'm also giving a warning to those expecting great-quality wood. You are NOT buying great quality wood, it's compacted/recycled and exactly what you're paying for. Now, I'm still giving this a 5 star because of a bunch of things. It's VERY easy to put together. I looked at the directions once and was able to put it all together by going "yeah, this looks right". It's sturdy. Although it's nothing like what your grandparents had back in the day, it's still able to hold some weight. I'm around 5'9", and I love how high it is. This table is definitely for people on the taller side, and the chairs match that height perfectly. The table design/color is beautiful. The tableset is stylish, but not overly so. If you're someone who loves wood items then this is for you. People usually have light/white kitchens, and the deep color of the wood will balance it out to give a nice homely scene. I got it for the design, but the chairs are surprisingly comfortable. I don't want to hype them up too much... but I've sat in worse. I just want to reiterate the wood quality. It scratches very easily. When you buy this table, I recommend also buying some type of tabletop protector because this piece will get scratched. ... show more

The instructions are without words. The positioning of the parts lack positioning blow up for some of the parts. I was able to position many parts by intuition. The spreader rails for the last chair went together perfectly but not so with the first three. I still have to blacken simulated leather covers at their corners. I don’t expect fine furniture, but the above could have been easily resolved at the factory. I added leg sliders to ease moving the chairs in and out which were not included in the kit. This is very nice and very reasonably priced. I bought it for my dad who did not have a kitchen table. My friend who helped me with the setup liked it so much she said she would take it if he didn’t want it! My issues with this are: 1) The directions were a little vague about how to insert the various pieces of the chair. Some point outward and some are straight and you have to kind of do trial and error to figure out what goes where. 2) the directions say to level the chair while screwing in the bolts, but it doesn’t really give any guidance on how to level the chair. My chairs all ended up being a little wobbly because they weren’t perfectly level and I didn’t realize this until the foot brackets were installed. Those are installed with screws, not bolts and are semi-permanent in terms of being able to loosen everything to make the chairs’ legs be level. 3) the bolts for the table legs came loose in the box. Fortunately, it didn’t cause any damage to the table or chairs, but it seems like this could be something the manufacturer could do better with securing to ensure no damage is incurred (as I have seen in some other reviews.) ... show more

I love this table. It looks amazing the height is absolutely perfect as it is countertop height. Putting it all together was super easy all the wood is beautiful it's easy to clean it looks perfect in a small kitchen as it's tall so you can put stuff under it if you need storage space. The top of the table was damaged prior to boxing and shipping and when I spoke with the seller they were able to fix the issue right away I was so happy with the customer service that these guys gave! ... show more

Dont buy online. It’ll arrive damaged. Table is sturdy and nice. Space saver but fits 4 well with room for more if you add stools. The chairs are sturdy and comfortable, but seem a bit narrow. The table was packaged very well to prevent damage during transport. So far the table is everything I expected and more. The color was a little off from the picture but is still beautiful. Dimensions are very accurate. The assembly takes a toll on your hands but can be made easier with a torx screwdriver or torx attachment with extension on a screw gun. Would not recommend using screw gun if you are not experienced with one as you can break or strip parts if not careful. Will update scratch resistance after some use. ... show more
