    • It works - but not an 8.5' cord
I had one of these made under a different brand name but otherwise identical for around 7 years before it finally bit the dust. Product works fine. The housing was a little scuffed up out of the box but nothing terrible. I got the option with the 8.5 foot extended cord. Well, that's not quite what I got. The cord is the same length as the regular fan, and indeed the same as the old one I had. However, included was a 3 foot long, 3 outlet extension cord! It's not exactly a bad thing, since it still gets the job done and now I can use my little extension cord for other stuff if I want to, but it's not what was advertised. I found it more funny than annoying. Just watch out because if you expect a fan with an 8.5' cord, that's not what you're getting. ... show more

This fan is versatile and can be aimed in nearly every direction. Its fairly quiet and I use it to keep air moving around my orchids.

    • Clip is weak
I bought this for use in a grow tent, to be clipped sideways to vertical pole. The clip is not strong enough to hold sideways, and the fan falls off or slides down the pole. I will have to tape or otherwise clamp into place. Clip is fine if mounted 'upright' such as a tabletop or desktop.

really does not produce and appreciable volume of air breeze - in fact I've owned a lot of fans in my 76 years - this blows almost nothing on high speed - about the same volume as o low speed
