I used it to cover a kiddie pool in the blazing sun and it did start to degrade after about a month but I believe it would have been fine if not used in the sun. I recently purchased a small rectangle kids pool and needed a cover to keep out debris and critters. I found this one and took a chance. The size was much larger than the pool so cut it to a perfect size to cover the pool leaving some length to place bricks on the edges to keep it secure. It has metal rings on the edges and top side gray and other blue. It’s medium weight and secure edges. It was a good purchased where I will use the scraps in my car when I bring home sacks of mulch or plants.
