This is a nice retro look ceiling light that made for a great update from the contractor grade light we have. It’s a flush mount which works well with our low ceiling, but I wish it was a bid wider. At a little over 10 inches wide, it feels a little small for our entry way. The air bubbles in the glass has a nice effect. Taking off 1 star because of the scratch on the glass (no it’s not a crack) that’s very visible and kinda distracts from fully appreciating the beauty of this. ... show more

This is a beautiful, well made, and sturdy light fixture. Installation was easy, but if you have never installed a light fixture before, this would not be a good one to start with. The directions are basically one picture showing a breakdown of the order of the components as they should be hung. This is not very helpful. Because I have installed a few light fixtures, I was able to understand the directions, but if you aren’t already familiar with the process, you will probably be confused and frustrated. This fixture sits firmly against the ceiling with no wobbling. It looks great and the globe is large enough to allow you to choose almost any lightbulb you want to use (it takes two bulbs). This is a nice feature since the globe is clear and the lightbulb choice adds to the style. I’m very happy with both the style and function of this fixture. I put it at the bottom of the stairway coming off of my living room and plan to buy a second one to replace the fixture at the top of the stairway so they match. ... show more

The ceiling unit looks great, and the way the light shines through the seeded glass gives the light quality a nice glow. The casing was clean and smooth -- no damage or imperfections on the decorative part of the light. Installation was pretty standard -- it went up in place of our old light pretty easily. The only snag we hit was that the screws that hold the plate to the ceiling were too long, so we needed to cut them to get the plate to actually fit flush. It is a smaller unit, and so perfect for a smaller area. We’re pleased with it. ... show more

In my photo you can see I have the regular bulbs in it but I did not have enough Edison style bulbs to put in there so I sacrificed lol. But our theme here for the house has been farmhouse style and this definitely adds to it for sure. The bubble glass for it may be not needed but it is a nice touch however. ... show more
