Finally! A fire starter that works well in our fireplace! And this one didn’t break the Bank! They are the perfect length and burn long enough to get the firewood started. We have tried some of the more expensive brands and found that they not only didn’t light, but didn’t stay lit long enough to get the fire going. Lots of oddball sizes, some as small as twigs. They do light and burn well. Just not sure if I am using more than I would if the sticks were closer to a standard size.

I was impressed by how I was such a little stick could burn so hot and so fast! Easy To light, burns hot enough to catch your kindling and split wood on fire. I used way too many the first time probably 8 to 10, It turned into a raging inferno! You only really need About 4 to 5 to really good a good fire pit going. Definitely a great value and I purchase a bag every couple months because we do fire pits often.

It is what it says it is That said, it is literally 10 pounds of loose fatwood sticks in a box. They're good size sticks, but even putting them in a 2mil plastic bag, then the box would have been better... It's a small quibble, I know, but for some reason I was surprised it was just sticks in a box...
