This was my first batch ever of soap making. I’m very happy how they turned out and the soap is wonderful to use as well! I only added honey and a few drops of colorant so I can’t take much credit for the soap ingredients but I can say it leaves my skin clean but not dry.

I make cold process goat milk soap. I purchased this to make small samples for various scents easily available. Despite using the IFRA max for 4 different scents in several 1/2 oz samples, all I can smell is the horrible smell of this base. It’s smells plastic like, disgusting, by itself and when mixed with otherwise lovely scents. Update - amazing customer service from this company. They issued me a full refund, and offered their new formula goat milk soap to try. I took them up on it. Out of the package, it has a slight smell. I tried a small amount to test, as I didn’t want to waste anymore fragrance, and the smell went away / was covered up with the addition of a small amount of fragrance. Had I initially received the new formula of this product, I would give it 5 stars. ... show more
