Problem was I couldn’t remember or find the brand. Long story very short, I bought two different CRAP blinds, one had the finest print that read not returnable. FINALLY I found this brand again!. Not too expensive and very well made. These replacements are nicer than existing, we picked grey and it looks true to color. Follow directions first one took 40 minutes the second 15 minutes so if you have a lot to do it gets easier. Makes room way darker too so very happy with this choice.

The blinds were great but the blinds were slightly damaged on arrival. As I was taking everything out for the install, I noticed that I did not have the hardware to install the blinds. Whether it was shipped that way or it was the fault of the shipper, I don’t know. But it is still frustrating to have removed all the old blinds from my window just to find out I didn’t have the hardware to install the new blinds. Now I have to reinstall the old just to take them right off again later… Update: I got the replacement hardware and the blinds are currently installed. BUT the install took much longer than expected due to unclear instructions. But they do look great so I increased the rating to 4 stars.

These blinds were very easy to install. If you have ever installed mini blinds, these blinds are just like mini blinds. The brackets don't need to be in the corner. We put them about 9 inches from each end of the blind and just pushed the header in and snapped them in to place. The end caps on the blinds and the snap on easily and the valance is already installed. We ordered two different brands of blinds (due to different size windows); I wish the other blinds had been this brand! One review said the blinds had a nice wood pattern; our white blinds did not have a wood pattern but were just plain white plastic. But I don't care. It took about 20 minutes to install (it'd have been quicker if I'd been doing it myself, but my husband thought he had to install them, and he had never installed mini blinds before, so he had to familiarize himself with the installation technique). I docked one star in the value for money because the blinds seemed a little pricy, otherwise, 5 stars.

The brackets to install the blinds don't have enough clearance above them to actually snap the blinds on property if you install them to the top of a window frame, which makes installing inside the window (instead of outside of the window) difficult. I actually had to reach out to the seller complaining and they did explain the installation kit comes with spacers to solve this issue. The spacers did work, but it still begs the question...why? Why manufacture them in a way where the brackets don't fit most windows and require a spacer when no other blind has this issue. If the part the front of the backet hooked into was simply flat with the top of the blind instead of being recessed down, there would be no need for a spacer.
