Maybe I’m one of the lucky ones or they improved their quality control. I received a pretty neat nightstand. I had no issues on missing parts or chips. Everything that was needed was included. The hidden compartment is pretty spacious as well as the two drawers.

I like it. It went together fairly smooth besides one of the wheels on bottom. I decided i didnt want to use them anyways so its not a big deal. First - assembly is not difficult if you pay close attention to the pictures and arrange all the pieces first. I am a 60yo+ woman with limited mobility and I assembled this myself. I made a couple of mistakes which meant I had to take it apart at some steps and redo it but that was my lack of understanding, not the instructions. The casters are not good. They broke almost immediately. We replaced them with sturdier casters from Lowes and haven't had any problem since then. This is great storage, makes using my laptop easier from my recliner or wheelchair and the storage compartment holds a lot. ... show more

This doesn't have great build quality. Honestly, at this price point, I expected a better build. It is made of particle board. The cheap kind. However, it was designed to be more structually sound than other furnishings with the same material quality. That doesn't excuse the cheap materials used though. There was no extra hardware so don't lose any (actually I had 2 extra pieces). I was really proud of the lift of the top shelf given the quality of the rest of it though. The two drawers are the worst build quality of the whole thing. Their biggest issue is that the bottoms are made of no more than really thick cardboard!
