I have three garage doors, so when I saw these replacement openers on Amazon at a reasonable price, I decided to try them out and see if they would work. All of my openers are Security+ 2.0 openers. Two of them are the type that have a hardwired control in the garage with a little flip-up panel and a Learn button underneath. One of them is the latest/greatest MyQ opener with a camera and that one has a LCD panel with text menus you can go through to program remotes and keypads. My first step was to get the latest/greatest opener programed into position "1" (the large button). I was easily able to get both of the replacement remotes programmed and was quite pleased with how simple the process was. My next step was to get the middle garage door programmed, I followed the instructions in the included manual but could not get it to program using the "Learn" button on the hardwired remote. So, out came the ladder and I attempted to use the Learn button (Yellow Circle) on the opener itself. Multiple attempts and it would not program. I kept trying various combinations of turning on programming, turning off programming, attempting to switch which button I was programming (opting for position 3 even though I wanted position 2) and suddenly something worked! Position 2 was successfully programmed on my first remote! I attempted to try with the other remote, but the process would not work. I didn't even attempt the third position, opting to just give up. Your mileage may vary, I'd say if you have the latest/greatest opener from Chamberlain with the LCD panel on your garage wall, then this will work great, otherwise, maybe stick with the OEM remotes.

The media could not be loaded. Two minutes and I was done. One minute of that was getting the ladder out. I lost a remote control, so I needed a replacement and this was exactly what I needed. Six step programming, 1 identify the button color on your garage door opener. 2. Long Press the program button on the back of the remote. (red led on front lights) 3. Press the desired remote button the correct number of times. ( Corresponding to color) 4. Press another remote button once. 5. Press the learn button on your opener. 6. Press the remote button you selected. Done.
