I didn’t realize this is an actual electric cooktop. It looks exactly like my induction burner so I wanted a second one. The big difference between a regular stove cooktop and an induction is how fast it heats and what type of pots and pans you can use on it. This one HEATS UP. You’re relying on the heat so any type of pot or pan can be used. You just have to wait for it to properly heat up and also heat up your pot and pan. Induction is the one where it doesn’t hot, it inducts the heat directly into the pot and pan but you’re limited. It has top be a pot and pan that can be used on induction otherwise it cannot heat up. My favorite part about induction is that once you’re done even if you touch the cooktop it won’t burn you, there is not cool down time necessary which is perfect if you’re clumsy like me. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS ONE. These will heat up like crazy for cooking much like any regular stove and you’ll need to wait for it to cool down. Perfect for travel and camping though since you don’t have to care about what material your pot and pan is, you can still use it with this. Induction heats up your water and the pot instantly while not burning you on the cooktop VS this you have to wait for it to properly heat everything up. Knowing the difference you can make a choice on which type of cooktop works better for your situation. This works just fine as a plug in stovetop if that’s what you’re looking for.

This portable cooktop is a 2-radiant burner unit that operates at 110V with a standard plug-in cord. It measures 23.6" long x 13.7" wide x 2.5" deep and will sit on a countertop or can be installed in a countertop. It has 2 independent burners with their own controls. The burners operate at 8 different temperatures and heat independently. It has a timer. You can use almost any kind of cookware. The cooktop weighs 13 lbs. And as a safety measure, it has an automatic shut-off. I have been wanting to get a portable cooktop to use when we are b-b-q-ing in the spring and summer. I get tired of running between the backyard and the kitchen to check on other dishes for the meal. This cooktop seemed to be what I needed and wanted. I can place it on a table out back. The cooktop has 2 burners that are flat, radiant style but aren't induction style. I can use any of my pots or pans on them. It is not what I would call lightweight, but I've got strong, young ones on site. It has a wide range of cooking temperatures and a timer. It has safety features, so I need not worry about using it outdoors. I am looking forward to a bunch of easy-to-manage b-b-qs this spring and summer. I am pleased I got this cooktop.

Plug in and use, a common 110V-120V socket will do, no special high-voltage power supply is required. The two burners are very practical, and can cook vegetables and soup at the same time, which greatly improves cooking efficiency. The 24-inch size does not take up too much space on the countertop and is also convenient for storage. There are 8 levels of firepower adjustment, which is enough for daily cooking and porridge, but if you are used to stir-frying over high heat, you may find it a little mild. The ceramic panel heats evenly and is easy to clean, just wipe it with a damp cloth. There are also child safety locks and timing functions, which are especially considerate for families with children and make it a lot safer to use.
