Little water heater The size of it is great. Fits underneath my sink which has low clearance due to the garbage disposal. Maybe living in a RV soon and could choose to use this in the RV as well. Works as it should. Pressure relief valve seems quality but leaked around threads with the teflon tape and paste. To get it stop leaking I had to tighten it so tight I was concerned I was going to break something.

I installed it right away and the minute ai turned on my water it got hot right away. I am so happy with it who doesn't want to have hot water at their disposal to wash their hands or do anything with. Thank God for this water heater!

We are adding point of use and tankless hot water heaters to each sink, bath, and laundry throughout the house. Eventually we will also replace our old 30 gallon tank water heater with a whole house water heater for additional energy efficiency but for now, just adding them to the sinks and laundry has helped tremendously. I got this installed relatively quickly and without any problems except the cord is quite a bit shorter than I need to reach the under sink outlet I JUST installed in preparation of the arrival of this hour water heater. I currently have a short extension cord powering it but will be running to the hardware store to move the outlet (…again…) closer to the unit. It works well and the water temperature is quite hot when cranked all the way up. I doubt I’ll ever really need it that high for a bathroom sink installation but I did want to see how hot HOT was. I didn’t run the hot out and time the refill/reheat process but for the purpose for my use, it’s not that crucial. I will also caution that it is a bit bigger than I thought it would be and fitting it into a bathroom counter may be tricky if you’re already crammed in there. Measure and then measure again.

This mini tank water heater can be used to supply a primary faucet where hot water may not be available from a whole house water heater or using an auxiliary faucet for instant hot water such as making tea, hot chocolate, or ramen noodles. Installation is fairly straightforward but be aware that you may need to purchase additional items depending on how you plan to install it. A tee from the main cold line and an auxiliary faucet may be required. We ordered this for the instant hot water function. We replaced the soap dispenser pump next to our sink with a matching faucet and used a tee from the main cold water supply like to go to the mini tank water heater, from there the hot water goes directly to the new tap we installed. It works great! The temperature is adjustable and you don't have to wait for the water from the house water heater to reach the sink, hot water is immediately available. This could also be used anywhere there is a 110v outlet available to supply hot water in limited quantities. At less than $100 with the current coupon this is less expensive than the units you may find in the big orange or blue stores.
