Works as it should. Pressure relief valve seems quality but leaked around threads with the teflon tape and paste. To get it stop leaking I had to tighten it so tight I was concerned I was going to break something.

Little water heater The size of it is great. Fits underneath my sink which has low clearance due to the garbage disposal. Maybe living in a RV soon and could choose to use this in the RV as well. I wanted to install an add-on bidet sprayer to my wife’s toilet but out hot water is slow to reach that area of the house and the thought of a cold water bidet in January wasnt that appealing. I had seen little tankless mini water heaters but they are slow to warm as well To my surprise, I came across this one day and all of my problems were solved. It is easy to install and fits neatly under a vanity or cabinet. It heats the water well enough for our purpose and we couldn’t be happier. It really does work well. If installed properly, you will not see any leakage and that’s important. My mantra has always been “happy wife, happy life” and this little addition sure made a difference. Compared to what some of those bidet toilets cost, this is a cost effective way to get instant hot water wherever you have electricity and a water line. 1500 watts is nice too since you won’t need any additional electric work. I had picked up a tankless version that needed 32 amps to un properly. Where am I going to find 32 amps running to my bathroom. Granted, it was advertised for an RV… but this one can get by in a standard circuit. All around good deal.

We are adding point of use and tankless hot water heaters to each sink, bath, and laundry throughout the house. Eventually we will also replace our old 30 gallon tank water heater with a whole house water heater for additional energy efficiency but for now, just adding them to the sinks and laundry has helped tremendously. I got this installed relatively quickly and without any problems except the cord is quite a bit shorter than I need to reach the under sink outlet I JUST installed in preparation of the arrival of this hour water heater. I currently have a short extension cord powering it but will be running to the hardware store to move the outlet (…again…) closer to the unit. It works well and the water temperature is quite hot when cranked all the way up. I doubt I’ll ever really need it that high for a bathroom sink installation but I did want to see how hot HOT was. I didn’t run the hot out and time the refill/reheat process but for the purpose for my use, it’s not that crucial. I will also caution that it is a bit bigger than I thought it would be and fitting it into a bathroom counter may be tricky if you’re already crammed in there. Measure and then measure again.
