Bought this for my semester abroad and took part in lots of traveling. It held up very well despite being dropped on the ground and banged on just about every surface. The mouthpiece tends to get icky on the inside fairly quick though. Iโ€™ve put this in the dishwasher many times with no issues.

    • Two different bottles, two different experiences
I got the 40oz bottle over a year ago and it goes everywhere with me. I absolutely love it. I've dropped it multiple times and besides a few minor dings it still looks great. It keeps my water ice cold for well over 24 hours and the straw lid is functional and convenient. I just bought the 22oz one for my boyfriend and the experience has been the opposite. We can barely get any water out at all. The suction is intense. I've reached out to Simple Modern and am hoping for a replacement lid as I think that must be the issue. Hopefully the replacement fixes the issue as I absolutely love these water bottles. ***EDIT*** their customer service got back to me incredibly fast and offered a fix for the suction issue. Just take an eraser tip and push in gently but firmly on the vent, there was a little pop and now the water bottle is working just as good as my first one! ... show more

I got the 20oz bottle for my son for 3rd grade and itโ€™s amazing! Exactly the same as my hydroflask, and I will be repurchasing for my daughters and if anything happens to the hydroflask I already have, I will buy this instead! Same exact product by a different name and much better price point!

    • Bottle is great, lid is not
I love Simple Modern water bottles. I originally bought the 22oz size with the wide mouth lid, and it was amazing. It keeps ice all day and my water is always cold. The size is perfect for putting in a car cup holder. However, when I bought the straw top, I was very disappointed in the design. First, the straw makes a strange suction action with the water inside because the valve in the top that is supposed to displace air is of cheap design. Then, the area where the mouthpiece rotates up and down began to leak. It leaked several times on my vacation this summer. I was very disappointed in the lid design. I bought this water bottle for work and found that after a full shift it still was cold with ice. I do work indoors in Fl. I also bought a second one for my husband and he loves his. We never leave the house without our water bottles.

I forgot to dump the left over water out one afternoon after work. I came in the next day and there was STILL ice in it! It sat all night....About 3pm-7am and the ice was still there! Amazing.

Noise when sipping from the straw. Was looking for a Water bottle that would fit in my cupholder and be an easy carry along.
