I purchased this safe for my niece who opened her very own nail salon. She’s had suspicions that an employee may be stealing from The cash register. I decided to purchase her this safe. It is working out Perfectly for her~ the flip down slot allows her to quickly and conveniently place cash In a secure place. I was immediately impressed with this unit upon set up. This safe is SOLID! The door especially is thick; It actually feels bulletproof. It comes with many organizational features which has proven to be even more helpful than we initially anticipated. She keeps 1 small pistol on the premise. Which doesn’t warrant the use of the gun rack; but it is nice to have if she decides to use the safe in a different setting. The shelf is perfect to keep company credit cards and spare keys easily accessible on the removable/optional door hook. She has ample space for all of her important documents. Warranty cards and receipts for her equipment. The built-in security alert that is triggered when a password is entered incorrectly has helped her pinpoint which employee was untrustworthy. This has essentially allowed the safe to pay for itself. It came with all the necessary mounting hardware. *UPDATE 4/29/23: haven't had an issue since purchase! For the cheap price tag expect the equal for its looks, sturdiness, and secureness. ⚠️The box itself is "fireproof" - however I'd give it 20 mins inside a full blown house fire before the valuables inside it either catch fire or char. This is because all the walls besides the front door is 1/16 inch plate steel 😑 ⚠️They don't tell you that you also need to remove the top LED cluster (held in by 1 small screw) and put 2 AA batteries into it. It does it's job well when it has power. -> So here's the lesson. If you're on a budget or have hand pews to store, it'll do its purpose well. Get a SentrySafe for the documents... ... show more

    • Poor & confusing instructions due to a 'literal' translation of the Chinese dialect into 'ENGRISH'
The "instructions" are a very poor translation from Chinese (dialect) into "Engrish". The worst part of the instructions are the UNCLEAR directions on how or where to 'PUSH DOWN' on the cover plate for the emergency key usage - you push ONLY - "straight in" (not down) - at the far right-hand side near the edge of the 'cover plate' for the FIRST USAGE of the 'emergency key' for the initial unlocking/opening the safe. Otherwise, once you learn to read (decode) the confusing 'Engrish' all is OK. The 'button' for changing the 'codes' is along the 'hinge side' of the primary DOOR; its the topmost button. :-o ... show more

This safe is really good for the price I did research for safe for some time and this product was the winner This safe basically is a metal box that locks securely. The locking mechanism is good with good technology, and the shelf is adjustable and there is another lock box inside for another layer of protection. It’s pretty solid vault for important personal items and documents. And perfect size to fit letter size documents side landscape way too. It comes with a few pieces of metal to secure it in the wall if needed. Only complaint it is not super heavy, but does the job. One of my favorite functions is the dual access to unlock with the keys that come with it or setting a PIN. It comes with an inner compartment that can be locked as well. This safe is sturdy and works well. The buttons and keys are easy to use. The sound of the buttons are a little loud, but that’s no problem for me. The safe is really heavy, which is a good thing. Hard to steal. It has good technology in it, the way the panel was projected, double codes, battery display.
