Rough Country 2" Bolt-on Leveling Kit for Ford F-150 - This leveling kit fits the 2013 F-150 XLT 5.0 SuperCrew Short Bed. It's the best 2-inch leveling option I’ve found because the leveling kit/spacer includes extra alignment holes that match up perfectly with the strut tower frame—check the pictures for reference. I previously ordered another 2-inch leveling kit, but their holes didn’t align correctly. After installing the Rough Country spacer onto the strut, I swapped the entire strut assembly from the passenger side to the driver side. This made installation much easier, avoiding the hassle of rotating the strut springs 180 degrees. To fully remove the struts for the swap, you'll need 27mm and 30mm sockets. 2015 f150 xlt v6 here . Instuctions were Wayy off . Had to figure it all myself . The life hack here i learned and never seen anyone talk about it is , Since you have to install the strut facing the oppisite way so the bolts line up on top , you must angle the bottom 2 bolts the opposite way as well . WITH THE STRUT OFF AND LAYING ON ITS SIDE SPRAY WD40 ON THE RUBBER ON BOTH SIDES SO IT CAN PENETRATE AND THEY WILL BE MUCH MUCH EASIER TO ANGLE THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION !!! ... show more

The spacers worked for what they were supposed to do. Only problem is that one of the bolts stripped when mounting strut back onto my truck. So I was only able to tighten 2 of the 3 nuts on the spacer. I couldn’t take everything apart again to fix it, nor would I have been able to fix it once it stripped. Lesson learned but that’s why you get what you pay for. ... show more

I finished this today. It took me a while doing it alone, I would have used a second set of hands multiple times if possible. The first side is the learning curve and the second side goes much better. I swapped driver and passenger side like others mentioned as well as removing the bottom strut bolts prior to re installing. My truck sits approximately 1/2” lower in the front when compared to the rear now. I am happy with this kit. ... show more
