One star because this just does not deliver what it is supposed to: clear electronic magnification. The view on the tiny screen is fuzzy and neither the electronic nor the eye lens magnifications are much better than the naked eye. The eye pieces do not fold out far enough, so unless you have a small head... I returned it after 10 minutes.

Things I Like: Excellent zoom and clarity: The 12X zoom is impressive for this price range. It get clear images even at a distance, and the digital zoom makes it easy to spot birds or wildlife. Night and low light vision: The infrared feature really works. We used it during an evening hike and could still make out animals and terrain clearly. It’s not full military grade night vision, but it’s more than enough for outdoor use. 32GB memory card included: I love that it comes with a memory card, I can take photos and record short videos directly through the binoculars. It’s like having a camera and binocular in one. Durable and Waterproof: We got caught in some light rain, and these held up just fine. The build feels solid and rugged enough for hiking or light hunting. Kid friendly too: My 10-year-old was able to use them without any trouble. The controls are simple and intuitive, and the 2.4" screen makes it easy to see what we are looking at. Concerns: Battery Life: Not bad, but if you plan to use it a lot (especially with night vision), bring a backup battery or power bank. These binoculars are wild. The infrared kicks in at night and actually gives clear images of raccoons crawling around in the backyard. During the day, it’s just solid zoom and sharp visuals, especially when spotting birds. That little screen on the back makes it feel like I’m running surveillance. They’re light enough to toss in a bag for a hike, and the battery lasts a good while. I’ve filmed some decent wildlife clips and snapped some stills that surprised me. I’ve been using these 2.4" binocular goggles for about a week on nature walks, and they’ve really impressed me. The compact size makes them easy to toss in a backpack, but they still feel solid and comfortable in hand thanks to the rubberized grip and lightweight build. No weird smell out of the box either, which I appreciated. The image is sharp with smooth focus adjustments, and even in dim light—like early morning or dusk—they hold up surprisingly well. The 2.4" screen is bright enough for casual viewing, though I usually prefer the viewfinder for birding. For the price, the clarity and performance exceeded my expectations.
