  • Buttons feel great
The goal was to use this as a controller on steam for me You got to do some finagling in steam to get it to recognize the controller but after getting it all figured out it works perfect I LOVE the buttons they have that classic feel to them but also are a dream for current games I don't think the rumble works in steam though but that's fine its super light which is great im a bit worried about its durability but the buttons feel great so far the abxy buttons feel so great and the triggers to ... show more

  • Amazing wave Bird replacement with Modern Features!
That's right I'm saying it, this is a great wave bird replacement! It terms of feel of the buttons, and analog sticks it's honestly crazy how closely this controller feels compared to an official GameCube controller. Look at my comparison pictures of a stock gamecube controller and this one. Pros - Works with Nintendo Wii, GameCube, Nintendo Switch and I believe also PC. - Uses USB C and has rechargeable batteries - Design and buttons are true to the look and feel of a stock gamecube controller. - Has Rumble Cons - Build quality of the plastic could be better. - For the cost I would expect and higher grade plastic but everything is working as intended. - Has to be turned on the Charge. This one threw me off as normally controllers just need to be plugged in to charge. You have to flip to stick on the controller to "On" before it will charge. - Does have trouble auto connecting back to the receiver but found just pressing the "+" button on the controller and, the button on the receiver syncs things back up quickly. ... show more

  • Ehhh - not worth full price
Great for the nostalgia but feels cheap. Connected right away with the Bluetooth usb. There’s also an issue with the right trigger making ghost inputs. There is a considerable lag so would not recommend for competitive games like smash or anything with rhythm/timed minigames.

  • Good controller
It works pretty well for what it does. Being able to connect this thing to a Wii and a Computer is amazing, as well as the fact that it has bonus buttons like a second Z button. My only criticisms with it are that the controller's d-pad is a bit wobbly and that the Bluetooth connectivity can be a bit finicky. Other than that, this controller is great. It's wireless, has analog triggers, and the whole nine yards. ... show more

  • A perfect thing!
Great controller. Great feel. Easy connectivity with a wii u. Required a little bit of tinkering to make perfect. The A button was sticking slightly. I opened it up by removing 6 screws and loosening 2 set screws. Then I used some 100 grit sandpaper to widen the A button hole. I also put some paper and tape over the bright LEDs. I'm very happy with this. ... show more

  • Worth it!
Have not used it on the Wii yet but I have used it on the Switch 2 to play Zelda and it works great. Feels nice to hold and the buttons react well. I have never played gamecube so I don't know what the OG controller feels like, but I like the feel of this one well enough. It was easy to connect, had a good range. The switch sits by the TV on the other side of the room but had a solid connection while playing. ... show more

  • Randomly disconnects. Weak 2.4ghz signal. Almost great.
As a third-party NGC controller, it’s good. No trigger clicks like the old one, but everything else in my opinion feels good. HOWEVER. The 2.4ghz connection is BAD. The signal from controller to console is very finicky. I’ve been playing with this on my Steam Deck for the past several months and noticed that the controller will disconnect from time to time. If they could make the signal stronger and stop the controller from randomly disconnecting then I’d recommend this to everyone. Sadly, I can’t. If only they could make a wireless Bluetooth NGC controller for PC. Or even a 2.4ghz one that doesn’t keep disconnecting. Only time will tell. ... show more
