My application for the B06 Pro is sending music from my Windows 10 computer to my Sony STR-DG520 Home Theatre Amplifier/Receiver. I used to do this by using Miracast to cast music from the computer to the TV and then from the TV through an optical cable to the Home Theatre Amp/Receiver. This got my music from the computer to my speaker system but the sound quality was poor. I also had to reconnect the Miracast device on the TV whenever I wanted to listen to music through the home theatre speaker system. I ordered the B06 Pro with the hope of improving my music listening experience. I always feel that the quality of a product's packaging is an indication of the quality of the product. If the packaging is cheap and "low-end", then the product is probably "low-end" also. The B06 Pro packaging is definitely "high-end" and the product design reinforces that feeling. The user interface is easy and intuitive and includes: Power On/Off; Play/Pause/Pair; Next/Previous Track; Volume Up/Down; 3D Sound Effect On/Off. With my new setup, the B06 Pro connects to the computer via Bluetooth. The music goes by Bluetooth from the computer to the B06 Pro and then through an optical cable to the Home Theatre Amp/Receiver. The sound quality is excellent and there is no interference. The B06 Pro stays connected so, when I want to to listen to music, all I have to do is turn on the Home Theatre Amp/Receiver and start the music playing on the computer. Even though the B06 Pro setup is simple, I did have a minor issue at first. When I contacted Customer Support they responded immediately and resolved my problem. You can buy the B06 Pro with confidence; it's a high-quality device, it performs beautifully and the Customer Support is first-class.

I needed something to convert my 2005 Bose Wave stereo into a wireless receiver so I could play music from my phone. This works great and the receiving distance is a lot more than I thought it would be (50' +), maybe because it is powered via USB? I was really impressed that the unit came with all of the cables I would possibly need: USB Cable and wall plug, RCA, optical, and 3.5mm - This was a nice surprise. It took me longer to open the box than it did to set it up. Highly recommend!

I have purchased both this receiver and the B06 Plus. Both are very nice and simple to use. I am connecting to a high-quality audio system and speakers through an Android phone. The Ultra has noticeably better audio quality and uses a better DAC than the plus, though it is not the absolute top of the line. It has the added bonus that you can connect using the LDAC codec, which offers the highest quality Bluetooth streaming available. If you are streaming Hi-Res music this is the way to go. Unfortunately, this not available on Apple devices, where you are stuck with AAC. In that case you might go with the B06 plus. This one also seems to have a longer range, for me well over 30 feet through walls in the house.

I returned this when I decided to get a preamp that had Bluetooth, I only used it a handful of times. It worked well and I liked that its color represented the codec that is being used. Sound quality seemed great. I like that it had LDAC I wish it had a little weight to it.. add some sand or lead weights to make it stay in place better.

This unit works flawlessly. It should be noted that the cables needed to attach to stereo come with this unit. This unit receives my bluetooth from quite a distance of sixty feet and, objects in front of it. Really works quite nicely.
