We noticed a musty smell and some mildew on our yoga mats and the studio just had this musty smell. My husband bought this and I hope it helps. It is quiet enough not to disrupt our clients, and can be pumped or drained although he has it draining out. It has a timer to shut it off and is energy efficient which helps since it's running all the time now and our bills are already high. So I like that it can save money while still having to run. The wheels move around ok, we have it on the mat so there's some resistance but it does ok. It's big, I would prefer not to have it at all but it's helping clean the air and bring the moisture down so it is what it is.

This has been amazing for managing moisture in one of my new places, this thing quickly tackled the humidity issues I had and it eliminated the odors that my new place where getting, in my opinion the energy efficiency is a bonus because this means its saving me money on electricity while still doing an amazing performance when turned on, it has some cool features such as the ambient light that I wasn't expecting to enjoy that much but these show the current humidity levels its simple but effective to see the colors of how my space is doing humidity wise. It has a good mobility due to its wheels and they haven't given me any problem so far so this is a plus for when I need to take it back to my house when I am not planning on using it.

I have a large basement over 2000 sq. ft. In the past, I have used a Whirlpool dehumidifier which was a bit noisy and was struggling to keep up for the size of the area. After replacing the XDrier unit, the humidity has been stabilized with in a couple of days. This unit runs quiet behind the scenes, around the clock, eliminated the moldy smell in a short span. It automatically wakes up when the humidity level is high (I have it set to 50), and works until the levels are dropped. I find this quiet Energy Efficient compared to my other unit. I love the intuitive programming features, excellent led display controls, and the add-on (color) light display to indicate the humidity levels in the room. Will certainly recommend this.

Some what disappointed, the internal take is very very small. The pusher drain, and actual drain are very useful. Out of the two units I bought, one the touchscreen plate keeps lifting off the unit. Too much of a hassle to go through a replacement seeing how it’s still working.

The media could not be loaded. This thing is a beast. Runs well and pulls out a lot of moisture. Very quiet compared to other machines this size. Multiple options for water discharge is excellent.
