Unbeatable for the price. Build quality (metal around with glass surface) is up to par with the name brands and have been using this burner as the primary for family meals the past few weeks. It heats up very quickly (capable of 1800w) and is efficient in cooking meals whether it be laid back breakfast meals to gourmet dinners, this burner can handle it all. With the large surface area too (10 in), i’ve haven’t had an issue trying to use any pots or pans. Does not take up too much space either and the user interface is very simple. Looks really sleek and is very functional for what my wife and I use it for. For less than $50 at the time of purchase, this was an absolute steal. All backed by a 1 year warranty from the manufacturer, this was a no brainer, indeed.

Works great... On small pans. Lots of power, works well, as long as it's a smaller pan. Says it has a12 inch cook area, but only heats up about a five or six in circle in the center. Hopefully I didn't warp my 12 cast iron skillet. Using a infrared thermometer gun the center was over 700 degrees while the perimeter was only in the 200 to 300 degree range.
