I bought this unit to replace a 24,000 BTU unit that had given us years of good service but was icing under use and dripping water on our floor. I decided to replace it rather than chase the R22 pressures and whatever other issues were going on. I bought this 18,000 BTU unit hoping it would be enough to replace the more powerful previous unit. It came quickly and was well packaged. Everything on this unit was well packaged, the directions were clear, and all wiring marked and terminated. I was a little concerned because the components were quite a bit lighter than the old unit. As it turns out, this was a huge advantage when trying to wrestle the inside unit into place and the outside unit was much easier to put in place. (I did it all myself). The template for the inside was perfect and all went together really well. The unit fired up perfectly first start and seems to put out as much cold air as the old one, there is no icing and the water flows out the back drain tube like it is supposed to. The unit is quiet and has plenty of power to cool the house. Bottom line is this seems to be a good quality mini split that is straightforward to install. Straightforward, that is, if you have at least reasonable mechanical, plumbing, and electrical knowledge. This is a great unit at a great price.

Bought this mini AC for my tenant in time 😬 It looks so nice, instructions are very clear, my brother and husband both can install the AC easily. My tenant and her boyfriend are very satisfied, they said it is a lot better than the last one (the Gree brand). They also told it cools down the room fast, and the AC itself is very quiet.

DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT!!! It requires a vacuum to be pulled on it(which I was unaware of upon purchasing it) by an HVAC technician. None of the local hvac place will touch it because I didn't buy it from them. Now im stuck with a unit that I can't use!

I’m very satisfied with this split air conditioner. It cools the room quickly and maintains a steady, comfortable temperature. The unit runs very quietly, which makes it perfect for the bedroom. Installation was simple, and the remote control is easy to use. Excellent product and worth every penny!

I gave this a five due to not sure of temperature readings. It came well packaged with fairly good instructions. Print could be a little bigger. You could hook up lines and go but elected to bring in an a/c guy as my lines had to be shortened due to location on my units. a/c blows cold, and swing works well. I also had to bring in an electrician as it has to be hooked up to 220V. The only thing I haven't been able to quite figure out is if this unit has a temp sensor that shuts off when temp gets to desired setting. Overall, I'm quite happy with this unit.

This unit is powerful and affordable - so much easier than putting in central air! WAY less expensive, AND it allows you to heat and cool areas separately. I have an upstairs I almost never use, so this is the perfect energy-saving option for me. It also heats and cools so quickly! I have tropical parrots, and when traveling home, I used to have to keep them in the car with the heat running for 1/2 hour until the house heated up with my oil furnace. Now it heats up in seconds! Also, it's quiet and has lots of options for adjusting the fan speed and louvres for adjusting the direction of the air flow. I love it!
