The was the easiest antenna by far!! the USB power so you dont have to worry about dining an outlet if you have it on your tv. and it got so many channels! i also like the small design and size. i was actually able to hang it from a nail behind by tv and you cant even see it. Didn't have any trouble setting up on my smart tv > Live TV > Antenna > let it find the channels. literally took me all of 5 minutes to hook it up and connect it! i am about 10 miles from towers so it worked great for my area of texas. Got a lot of extra news channel from other places. well worth it. it'll pay itself off > now that i canceled my hulu live tv. Who new you can get so many channels for free!! hahahah! i need them for all the tv!! love it!

I am very experienced in OTA. This unit does a great job getting channels and allows multiple mounting options. Out of five antennas I tried at my location, this one performs the best. The long coax lets you position it in the best spot. That is key. And it can be oriented vertically and horizontally. Horizontal worked best for me, but it will vary depending on location. Great value.

I recently purchased the Outside TV Antenna Best, and I am extremely satisfied with its performance. The installation process was straightforward and only took about 30 minutes. I live in southern Missouri and was paying $95/mo for DISHTV plus an internet provider fee for basic TV -- except every year or so Dish had a disagreement with CBS so I wouldn't have it for 6 months to a year -- so I didn't get all the basic channels either. Of course if I wanted to see a specific movie or series on Hulu, Netflix or Prime I had to pay an additional monthly fee for those too. So, I cancelled my Dish TV service and found that no streaming services in southern Missouri included Basic TV channels. I then researched TV antennas and found this "1800+ Miles Range TV Antenna, 2025 Strongest Digital TV Antenna Indoor with Amplifier and Signal Booster, Portable HD Antenna for TV Indoor for Smart TV and Old TVs-38ft Coax Cable-Support 8K 4K 1080p" for $55. That's about 1/2 of one month's DISHTV bill. I am not tech savvy but the illustrations in the very small fold out booklet were clear and the company provides a phone number that is actually answered by a knowledgeable representative in a timely fashion. So, I connected the antenna to my SmartTV, and mounted the antenna inside on a window that was close, and followed the instructions to mange/recognize channels that were available. Then I called the company rep to be sure I had done everything correctly. I got access to much more than on my DishTV, including live NBC and ABC -- I was not able to get live CBS, but will admit I did not try to move the antenna box to another window or elsewhere because I am very happy with the channels and shows I am getting, and am not one who likes to tinker. [I also have Wal-Mart Plus which includes a subscription to Paramount Plus streaming and can get CBS shows within a few hours of their airing.]

I wasn't sure how well this device would work so before permanently installing it, I decided to just connect it to my TV and see what I'd get. The first photo shows the simple connection to my TV's connection box (not cable). The next series of photos shows how quickly I was able to scan the airwaves and store 179 channels on my TV. I'm guessing if the antenna were better located, I would have been able to find and store additional local channels. Based on the success of this less-than-5-minute install, scan and store, I will next find a more suitable place for the antenna and re-scan. To me it is amazing that this $10 device works as well as it does. It doesn't replace my cable box and the ability to get premium subscription channels, but it does provide an inexpensive way to watch TV when your cable is out or you have no additional service. It's also a great way to get TV from a remote location, one that is not near a major city. I'm very happy with this device and would recommend it.
