That is only true because they didn't tighten the screws well enough. So here is the tip: Tighten both crews on each post. Then once one is tightened and won't move go back to the other screw on the post and tighten it more. Then go back to the original screw and tighten it. Continue to go back and forth until the screws will no longer screw. Lol. I had to say that, but make sure both screws are tight and secure before you stop tightening. Happy Non-Creaking Bed!

I've read conflicting reviews, but the one I got is very stable (even at 18 inches tall) and very sturdy. Well constructed and heavily braced. If you can use a screwdriver, assembly is nothing to worry about. Mine came with all hardware and a ratcheting tool to help install. Storage boxes fit easily under the frame.

Bought the twin size bed frame to use as an adult bed. It was very easy to put together and it does not squeak at all. The bars are spaced close enough together that a box spring or a bunkie board are truly not required. The screws were easily installed with fingers and only had to be tightened a little with the included Allen wrench. I purchased a headboard to go with the bed without realizing there are no screw holes for attaching a headboard. This is an easy work around using four L brackets from the hardware store, power drill with metal bits, and a little patience. Start with a small bit and increase in bit size incrementally until you have the right size hole. The L brackets need to be attached to the headboard and the flat inside of the legs. A footboard could also be installed in this manner. If you don't want to drill your headboard or bed frame you can use super strong Velcro or large zip ties instead. Overall, I am quite pleased with it. I especially like that there is no center support to break your toe on, there is enough height for under bed storage, and that the outside facing edges of the legs are rounded.

This is indeed a strong bedframe, it is very stable so far and it can definitely hold a lot of weight. Reason I’m giving it four stars and not 5 is because one of the bars that it came with was way too short and it did not reach the other end. Like at all. Plus, some of my screws were already stripped before I even opened the screw pack, so there’s that. Luckily there was an extra screw so we just used that but still, it was a hassle. It is a good frame, but I wouldn’t spend more than 70$ on it if I had known. Other than that, assembly was extremely easy, it is tall with lots of space, I like it. The clips for the mattress don’t exactly fit in the middle, and they pop off really easy so I’m not too sure what the point of them is, but besides the one bar that doesnt fit, it’s pretty ok. I recommend looking at other options first but this is still a good frame

We recently purchased this bed frame for our futon mattress. It is amazing! Sturdy, easy to assemble with clear instructions, a solid tool kit to help build the frame too. It fits our queen futon perfectly, the side guides are very useful, we placed two on each side, so the mattress won't slip. I like the height of the frame, makes for a good storage space, good design. No wiggles, no creaks, this is a solid piece of metal, truly a great value for your money. Highly recommended.

I thought I bought this for my 60lb kids bedroom but really it was just to put it in a landfill a month later. If you even sat on this thing the bed was squeaking, shrieking and swaying all over the place within a month, to the point where I was afraid a leg was going to snap. The metal they used for the joints is ~2mm thick (see picture), how that would ever hold up for any reasonable amount of time is beyond me. Don't even consider using this as an adult. The pieces where the frames are bolted together are PAPER thin and will 100% fail. Absolute JUNK, don't waste your money. I want a REFUND.
