This is a very nice incubator for the price. I've been using expensive Brinsea incubators for years. Quiet turning, easy to program and nice looking but DO NOT trust the temperature reading on the top. I have it set to 101.6 and it's still only reading 99 inside the chamber from a separate thermometer/hygrometer. I also have the styrofoam packing sitting on top as the manual suggests. Be sure to calibrate for several days before setting eggs.

It's a basic incubator, I would suggest buying a different one if you are planning on hatching eggs regularly. Temperature is a couple degrees colder than what is displayed on the built in display. Buy an additional moniter that you can leave inside, to confirm the actual temperature. Humidity readings are always at least 13 units under what is on the display. Again, buy a seperate moniter. Water dispenser does not dispense at all, you have to squeeze the tube. It's at least better than having to add water yourself. It does work, and my eggs do have visible embryos. The heating works just fine, I'd suggest raising the temperature a degree or two of what you were originally planning on, as the display temperature is inaccurate. The automatic turning feature works well. All in all, it's a cheap incubator, but it gets the job done. It's good for a one-time hatch. I will be buying a different incubator for future hatches.

I love this little incubator. While it isn't as fancy as much more expensive ones, it does the job. It was easy to put together, has clear instructions and is a great value for what you get. While we normally rely on our broody hens to lay our new chicks, I have been wanting an incubator for years. When I got this, I tested only a few eggs as we tend to do our hatching in the spring so didn't want to go with a full dozen eggs. SO far so good. Candling shows we have some little peeps on the way. I am enjoying this a lot more than being pecked by our broody hens when I am checking the eggs!

There are some pros and cons with this incubator. It's a perfect size, the features (auto turn, heat and humidity) all work exactly as expected. The water bottles can be used or not, depending on how much humidity you're going for. Instructions are simple to follow and digital screen makes it easy to use. Some cons are that the screen is not backlit, so I have to turn on the light to check settings. Also, likely because it's a small incubator, the screen is only big enough for temp and humidity features - it does not tell you how many days left or how long til the next auto turn like other incubators do. All in all it's a good starter incubator but I prefer the bigger ones with more features.

Setup = Easy Programming = Moderate Maintenance = Low Received the product in brown card-box, it was well packaged. Quality is better than i expected. Setting up this incubator was quick, add water, plug-in & we're ready to go. The screen is easy to read, and the automatic humidity setup takes care of all the worries. Its meditating to watch them babies come to life through the process of incubation. Kids picked the set of eggs to incubate for our next breed of fluffy shed-dwellers, the built-in light turned into a little ritual to witness tiny movements inside the shell. Process is long, patiently waiting for the first shell to crack .... Expecting half a dozen chirping chicks and lasting memories with kids.
