    • Nice little 36V brick charger with cooling fan
Color: Red
I bought this to replace and much larger/heavier 36V charger that has gone on the fritz. It is quite small and lightweight but charges quickly ( 50%-100% in about 1 1/2 hrs) and then trickle maintains. It has a single LED that gives indications of errors as well as rate of charge and a very long output cord that is much better than my old unit. It is a dedicated output plug and you cannot change from one type of cart to another which would be even more convenient. It is so small and light you can put it in your kit and take it with you to charge carts during lunch break. It seems to one big heat sink (like you see attached to CPU fans and such only much larger) and there is a built-in cooling fan if it gets to hot during charging. It also says it is waterproof to withstand rain - although I have no need to find out if it is so. Cost is about 1/4 of what I paid for the larger conventional charger, so I can afford to buy another of these each year - if it last that long. Shipping was fast and it was double packed. I am fully satisfied with every aspect of this deal so far. ... show more

    • EPOWREY 18 AMP 36 Volt Golf Cart Battery Charger: Reliable, User-Friendly, and Durable
Color: Red
The EPOWREY 18 AMP 36 Volt Golf Cart Battery Charger for EZGO TXT with D Style Plug is a dependable replacement for owners of EZGO TXT golf carts needing a robust charging solution. Designed to deliver consistent performance, this charger impressed us with its immediate functionality, clear indicators, and sturdy construction, making it a solid choice for maintaining battery health. Packaging and Setup The charger arrived securely packaged, with the unit, D-style plug, and manual well-protected against shipping damage. Setup was effortless—straight out of the box, it plugged directly into our EZGO TXT’s charging port without any compatibility issues. The D-style plug fit snugly, ensuring a secure connection. No additional tools or adjustments were needed, and the included manual provided clear guidance on operation and safety, though the process was intuitive enough for immediate use. Design and Build Quality The EPOWREY charger is built with rugged, high-quality materials, featuring a durable plastic housing that feels tough enough to withstand regular use in garage or outdoor environments. The 18 AMP output is well-suited for 36-volt EZGO TXT systems, delivering a steady charge without overheating during our tests. The integrated cooling fan operates quietly, preventing excessive heat buildup during extended charging cycles. The indicator lights are a standout feature—bright, color-coded (green for fully charged, red for charging), and easy to read at a glance, even in dim lighting. The 8-foot power cord and 6-foot output cable offer ample reach, reducing the need for extension cords in most setups. Performance Replacing a defective charger, the EPOWREY performed flawlessly from the first use. It began charging our golf cart’s 36-volt battery pack immediately, with the red indicator confirming active charging. Over a 4-6 hour cycle (depending on battery depletion), it restored a full charge, and the green light accurately signaled completion. The charger’s 18 AMP output strikes a balance between speed and battery longevity, avoiding the overcharging risks seen in lower-quality units. We’ve used it for multiple cycles over several weeks, and it consistently delivers reliable performance, with no signs of wear or electrical issues. The rugged construction suggests it can handle frequent use, though we store it indoors to protect against extreme weather. Pros Plug-and-play functionality: Worked instantly to replace a faulty charger. Clear indicators: Bright, easy-to-read lights simplify monitoring. Rugged build: Durable materials ensure long-term reliability. Efficient charging: 18 AMP output charges 36-volt batteries effectively. Ample cord length: 8ft power and 6ft output cables offer flexibility. Cons Weight: At around 10 lbs, it’s slightly heavy for frequent transport. No storage bag: A carrying case would enhance portability. Conclusion The EPOWREY 18 AMP 36 Volt Golf Cart Battery Charger is a reliable, user-friendly solution for EZGO TXT owners. Its immediate functionality, clear indicator lights, and rugged construction make it a worthy replacement for defective chargers. While slightly heavy and lacking a storage bag, its performance and durability outweigh these minor drawbacks. For those needing a dependable charger to keep their golf cart ready, this is a top-tier option. ... show more

    • Fast, reliable charger — perfect for EZGO TXT (lead-acid only)
Color: Red
I’ve been using this 18 AMP EPOWREY charger with my 36V EZGO TXT for a few months and it works great. Charges fast — usually takes 3–4 hours to top off my batteries — and the D-style plug fits perfectly. It's weatherproof (IP67), lightweight, and has a long cable for flexible use. So far, no issues with overheating, and the safety features (over-voltage, reverse polarity protection, etc.) give peace of mind. The LED indicators are simple but effective. Just note: it's not compatible with lithium batteries and doesn’t have an LCD screen. Also, while it’s been solid for me, some users report occasional issues with auto shutoff over time. Overall, it’s a great value for lead-acid systems — highly recommended if you want a fast, durable, and plug-and-play charger. ... show more

Got this for a temporary replacement but it actually charges faster than a powerwise and its water resistant. It got caught in the rain a few times. Seems.to be fairly durable My girlfriend didn't unplugging when she started to back out and it fell 6 feet without any issues. It looks just like another brand I had at one time but that was a pos in comparison to this one ... show more

    • Purchase of this EMPOWREY charger was nearly a deadly decision!!!!!!!!!
Color: Red
This device nearly caused the death of my wife and me, plus my daughter's two-year-old Chiwawa. Our fire/carbon monoxide alarms sounded, at first, with what we thought were defective batteries in the unit. We switched out the batteries, and within an hour, they began chirping again. Thinking the units were defective, we physically disconnected all the units. Ordered new batteries--the batteries arrived the next day. We then changed the batteries in all of the detectors. However, this time, with the new batteries in the unit, the detectors immediately alarmed. We immediately switched our thinking...this must be carbon monoxide. We called the fire department! The fire people were in our home four minutes later. It took them less than three minutes to determine the EPOWREY unit had not cycled. The golf cart, which sat in the attached one-car garage, had continued pumping a charge to the batteries, causing them to overcharge and offgas, resulting in over 500 parts per million of carbon monoxide migrating to our home. The personal exposure limit for humans is 50 parts per million. The fire department spent an hour changing the air in our home. We were not allowed to enter for over two hours. Do not buy this device if you are charging your golf cart in an enclosed environment. This device nearly killed us. ... show more
