These blades are a direct fit for a Ferris 400S 48" deck. I was very surprised by the fact that these blades fit. They are also made of a very durable steel, and certainly cant take on the lawn that I have with sticks, stones and various levels of terrain.

Blades are not even sharp. One of the 3 blades is not even balanced. Shipping was HORRIBLE.

I recently received these mower blades, and while they were nice and thick and fit my mower perfectly, I ran into a big issue — they were incredibly dull. I mean, so dull that I’d feel completely safe handing them over to my five-year-old to play with, no worries at all. I’m not sure if the coating was too thick or if it's meant to wear off with use, but my concern is that these blades might not cut my grass effectively at all. In fact, I'm worried that putting them on could either do nothing for my lawn or worse, damage it by tearing the grass instead of cutting it properly. If I wanted blades that needed sharpening before use, I would’ve just saved my old ones and taken them in for sharpening. Needless to say, these blades won’t be going on my mower.
