  • High quality

Perfect setup for my A/V receiver. Some assembly required, but pretty straightforward and is very sturdy.

  • Adequate construction, easy to assemble, looks good
Size: 12U
This rack is a good cost-performance ratio, with expected cost-minimization that doesn't much impact performance... But but what a missed opportunity to allow a rack-standard side panel! The rails on the front are 10-32 (my usual preference), and on the sides there are square holes for cage nuts. Ohhh, a perfect solution. I pulled a couple of blank 6U panels out of inventory, tracked down the bin of cage nuts...... and the spacing is just a little too narrow to allow use of 19-inch panels to close up the box. I know it never claimed to do that, but with those square holes, I had a moment of optimism... Otherwise, it's an acceptable cheap rack that feels stable. The bright branding on one of the vented 1U "front beams" is easy to replace, and the rear supports for the two shelves are minimal with a single M4 screw that can be hard to reach... though it is cool that it comes with shelves. Will be fine for my lightweight comm-panel application; it replaced a solid but very unserviceable enclosed sloper cabinet, and is doing the job for less $$ than expected. ... show more

  • SOLID!
Size: 12U
Well worth the cost. Put together quickly and easily. Holds UDM-SE and two 24 port switches, bottom shelf holds gateway/ fiber modem and a couple iOT bridge devices, top shelf holds SFF pc (DIY server) with room for expansion. Product has great fit and finish- definitely recommend, would buy again.

  • Nice little rack
Size: 12U
I bought this as it was the only rack that would fit into the space needed. Let me preface this review by saying it 100% met the needs of the project. There are limitations with this rack, first, the depth, width and hight are not adjustable up or down. If you put the rack together by using the two front supports, the rack is actually a 10U, not a 12U. But you can drop one or both front cross supports and get back the lost U. The wall screws supplied don’t look like they could support the racks own weight. So if you are wall mounting, make sure to get proper screws and bolts to support the weight of the rack plus the devices added., ... show more

  • If you only read one review, read this one!
Size: 16U
I wanted to give this a good review, because it's simple stamped out steel and fits the bill. It's sturdy enough and quick to assemble. If you're looking to buy one of these and notice that some user reviews complain that the screw holes don't line up, feel confident that it's user error on their part. They should know better than to completely tighten any of the joints before lining things up and checking if they're square. Always check for square in everything you do! If you intend to use this square holes, which it does have, think again. It looks like you should be able to flip around the corner posts and use square holes instead of the round threaded but you can't. This is supported by other reviews stating that "its great that you can use cage nuts with the square holes" but that review is false. This might mean that Tecmojo pays for or sends "free samples" to people who never even set up the rack, or used it for anything. I really hope someone who set this thing up noticed that the side panels were welded. The side panels are spot welded and the square holes will always be on the sides because, in the designer's infinite wisdom, they also made the width and depth 0.5" off from each other, so you can't even turn it sideways to use the square holes. The dimensions are clearly documented but it is *not* clear that the side panels are welded together until you open the box. This, and other poor design decisions like this, usually mean to preclude you from using this product for anything that would need the utility of a more expensive product, forcing you to buy that more expensive rack. I.e. Let me hang my 2U server out of the back and secure it with an extension! As for the rack I purchased, I've already assembled it and returning it now feels dirty although I totally should just return it. I'm going to angle grind the welds off, and flip the corner members around so I can use the square holes with cage nuts and put it back together that way. Hope this helps anybody else building a homelab server. ... show more

  • Nightmare to assemble, Rack Holes Disproportionate
Size: 12U
I really wanted to leave a good review like everyone else but I am so frustrated. Some of the holes fit the provided screws, and some of them are too small. I don't understand what could be wrong. I've bruised my fingers from tightening and untightening screws because I cannot use the correct height levels I'd like to place my equipment at because the holes on both sides are not equal. As you can see in the image, one of the screws fits normally. The one on the other side that is as far as it will go. It is in the hole correctly, it just gets stuck a quarter of the way through because it is too small. The majority of the holes are too small. ... show more

  • Good, but has alignment issues
Size: 12U
Overall the rack is good quality and exactly what you would expect, however the top screw holes didn't align with the cover. I re-configured the rack multiple times thinking it was just me doing it wrong but nope, they were unmistakably unaligned. It wasn't terribly out of alignment, but enough where the screws didn't comfortably fit. ... show more
